  1. Thank you very much for the information. I appreciate your help and will bookmark the information for future reference.
  2. Hi, we are seasoned cruisers but this is our first Princess Cruise. I am trying (without much success) to find out which terminal the Regal Princess uses in Southampton. We are sailing in August 2024. If someone can point me in the direction of where to look for this information, I would be very appreciative of the help! Thanks.
  3. Hi! I have just started to read your review but have come across your picture that you posted. I don't know if you will remember but I just wanted to pop in and tell you that we (my husband and myself) enjoyed having dinner at the table next to you in LaCucina on the first cruise and discussing all of our various cruise and cruise line experiences. I am enjoying your review a lot so far and really appreciated the bit of time that we spent together.
  4. It is telling you that it is in theater on Deck 6 and/or Deck 7. I'm not sure why the 7 is on there twice, probably a typo.
  5. We are on December 9 - 16 and Choir of Man is performing on Dec 10 and Dec 14 which are both sea days.
  6. I was on an excursion this past summer where due to a difference in the amount of people on the bus and the amount of tickets they had, they did actually take "attendance". After checking the list several times the tour guide called out all the names one by one and we had to announce that we were present ( like in a school classroom). That being said they never actually asked for proof of identification to be shown by those who were answering present for the names called. In my experience an occasion like that is a rare occurrence. Unless there is an issue they just collect the tickets and don't even look at the person who is handing over the tickets.
  7. Thanks so much for the response. I have finally managed to find and load the portion on the NCL website that deals with excursion cancellations and strained my eyes with the very small print to find the answers that I needed. 🥴
  8. How does one cancel a pre-booked excursion before you get onboard? Can it be done online or do you have to call somewhere to cancel it?
  9. Does anybody here know if your ship (Prima) does an overnight in Reykjavic are you allowed to disembark (head to the airport for an early flight) on the second day early....like 6am for example? Or is it necessary to stay onboard and disembark in the more normal way... all passengers at the same set time.
  10. We are sailing soon on the Prima doing the itinerary that ends with an overnight stay in Reykjavik, Iceland. I am wondering when we will be allowed off the ship on the day of disembarkation?
  11. I did get it to work. Thanks so much for your help.
  12. Thanks. I figured that was going to be what I would have to do. Unfortunately I cannot find the original email, which is not like me because I usually keep them all in a folder on my computer. So I might be out of luck for bidding on that cruise now. If that is what happens that's okay because we are happy with what we booked originally.
  13. I just got a new credit card to update the valid date for another 3 years. Is there someway to go back in to the Upgrade Advantage bid in order to change this information on my bid?
  14. I had another thought that I might check out also. At the end of April we had the whole family (10 people) on a Disney Cruise. We used a private shuttle from Cruise Control Transportation to get from Orlando to the Port and back again. I was wondering if a company like that might do a quick shuttle run down to another terminal in between one of their trips between the port and Orlando. Might not be a viable option but one doesn't know that answer if we don't ask.
  15. I did have a look at that already. I thought it might help to see how far apart the ships might be. Right now they are showing the schedule until the end of September. We are sailing in December.
  16. Thank you for your reply. I think we will most likely have to use a cab. We are not going with the same cruise line for the second cruise.
  17. We have sailed lots of cruises out of Port Canaveral and also done many back to back cruises but have never gone straight from one ship/cruise line to another ship/cruise line in the same port on the same day. Port Canaveral is also a port that we have never used a taxi before, so not really paid much attention to the taxi situation there. Thank you for your input. Much appreciated.
  18. A Port Canaveral taxi question... Disembarking off of one ship and then immediately going to a different cruise ship, that is also docked at Port Canaveral for another cruise check in...... is a taxi driver going to be upset doing such a trip? I mean, definitely almost not worth their time to pick us up and drop us off at maybe the next terminal over (not sure about which terminals yet). They would then have to get back in line and and start over again. Anybody have any other easy ideas on how to pull this off?
  19. A different Port Canaveral taxi question that I am going to ask here if you don't mind. Debarking off of one ship and then immediately going to a different cruise ship, that is also docked at Port Canaveral for another cruise check in...... is a taxi driver going to be upset doing such a trip? I mean, definitely almost not worth their time to pick us up and drop us off at maybe the next terminal over (not sure about which terminals yet). 20. I hear ya. Next month we are going on Disney Cruise #19 which puts our total cruise count at 60. I've gotten pretty good at navigating the constantly changing requirements (sometimes changing many times for the same cruise) that have been required including several that needed COVID testing before boarding. I will admit it has been a pain at times when they change requirements at literally the last minute but hey, gotta do what we gotta do to keep the addiction going!
  21. Thanks for your reply. I guess they could do that. I've often wondered because some people (older ones for example....... this comment coming from someone who will be 67 on their next birthday LOL) just are not computer literate or don't give a thought to those sorts of things. Although I'm thinking most older people who might not be computer literate are probably using Travel Agents to book their cruises for them and have that support available for all of the small details.
  22. So, a hypothetical question here about Check-in and Port Arrival times. What happens if a person arrives at the terminal without having done any of the "required" on line check-in or getting Port Arrival times. There must be people who can't/don't do the pre check-in, say someone who is inexperienced with travel/has little or no computer knowledge/or any other reason we could dream up?
  23. Did you try looking in the burger/hotdog section of the buffet? Quite often they have lettuce there but nowhere else.
  24. Received an upgrade this morning on the Prima sailing out of Galveston on October 31. Went from a GTY Oceanview to a Family Balcony cabin.
  25. Thank you everyone for all of your suggestions. I really do appreciate your input!
