  1. Thanks, what I thought, we are a party of 2....👍
  2. Woh, lots of info and thanks. So there is a 20% on the drinks in addition to the beverage service charge already added?
  3. Nice to know, so happy to know this will cover any drink we care for, under $15, that is more than enough for us!!
  4. So the regular package was good enough....thanks!
  5. Hello... Just booked our 1st NCL cruise and had the FaS with a "Unlimited Open Bar Package" selected. Please help a newbie and give me the lowdown on this, limitations, is it truly free, is there a limit of how many drinks per day like Carnival? What are some of your favorite to drink and what to stay away from, specialty coffee included? TIA..
  6. Thank you, the Mexican Riviera is on our future but more then likely a different cruise line, 2 times with Carnival is enough for us.
  7. Nice, please keep us UTD on whatever 411 you find out. I also took the Bogo air and looking forward to what you experience...
  8. Tell me, had my family 8 od us on the 11th and luckily nobody left for LA at the time of the announcement. Is it me or does Heald sound a bit smug...🤔 We just placed the monies to our March Venezia Journeys Cruise and that is paid for, now just need to decide what to use the 100% FCC on. This has discouraged me enough to try NCL in August and am so looking forward to that one.... Have tried the Mexican Riviera 2 times and nope, have yet to step in any of those ports....
  9. Oh, that still sounds like a good deal....Are there any limitations on the menu, I suppose it is an appetizer, main and desert?
  10. Wow, that is even a better deal, come on $20PP is a steal! Thanks for the explanation, that is a no brainer...
  11. Thanks, $83 is not a bad deal, that is for 2 people, one meal? Is there a different menu to choose from? So I have to ask how are the specialty restaurants vs the MDR's?
  12. Great question as I saw that also and was wondering what the $83 PP actually is??
  13. Ahhh, thanks for clearing that up as we fly in 2 days before to enjoy the city beforehand and the ease of knowing we are already there... Is the cost minimal?? Just wondering as we plan on using them at the end of the cruise.... Also curious on what airline NCL uses or is it random??
  14. Thanks for the info, did not know one has to obtain a tender ticket, so you can't get show up?
  15. Hit and miss, I have some time to remove it, if need be, will be looking at airfare and see how it turns out as I really dislike not control over our ability to pick and change times...
  16. Thanks!! I sure hope NCL and the Breakaway changes our mind!... Looking forward to all she has to offer and on my way to read you post, thanks for 411 and the link!
  17. Wow, so much to ponder, while I do enjoy freestyle, I tend to be a creature of habit, so hopefully this will work for us. We are ready to try different, I looked and decided on NCL, let's see how this turns out. You are right the pricing is confusing at best, after spending sometime on the web, creating an account and as soon as I logged off, I received a call... That is what turned me on even more, he spent about 30 minutes explaining and helping me with no pressure to book... I like the all for one pricing, drink package, specially dining, even airfare all in the cost. So many times we booked a cruise and did receive some decent prices and that went up with each of the mentioned purchase, so that deal quickly disappeared... Very excited to try NCL and a midship, if we like then will definitely try one of the bigger ships...
  18. Le Bistro is on my radar, so enjoy French cooking/food, Thanks for the suggestion!
  19. Ok, finally decided it was time to try something different and here it goes... 2024 Breakaway, August, previously sailed with Carnival and RCCL. Did my due diligence and researched and decided this itinerary was new for us, 2 repeat ports and 2 new ports. What restaurants are your favorite and yoir favorite shore excursions? We are arriving 2 days beforehand to enjoy some Miami Beach time. Staying in Ft Lauderdale @ the Diplomat as we enjoyed our stay a few years back. What is the best way to get to the port from here, travel time etc? Anything you seasoned NCL folks can add, suggest would be greatly helpful and appreciated! Very excited for this new cruise adventure!
  20. If they can't move why even leave the LB port... Something is up
  21. Hello, so once bought you can on use it on board, so let's say you purchase cc and go back and cancel the order way before you cruise, do you get that money back?
