DH and I never had a problem dressing for dinner and going to MDR. We enjoyed it, however now as a solo cruiser I find it much easier to go to OVC as I did on a recent cruise most nights. I also didn't mind packing all casual clothes. -
8th time coming up this spring. Third on Summit. A beautiful island. I love walking around St. George and Tobacco bay was great for snorkeling. Have fun!

As a solo cruiser on a recent 10 night sailing, I found that the buffet worked very well for me on 6 of the nights.

Also, we were on Princess and young people were enjoying the hot tubs.

Coral hit the nail on the head. Casual, layers and rain protection. We visited in June 2011.
