Woke up today at 11:30…didn’t really want to get up, lol; but I know if I didn’t I’d miss lunch. forgot to get a picture of my plate..but it wasn’t anything spectacular (chicken, Filipino grilled vegetables, rice, and some pasta) i think I’m going to grab my laptop from the room and find a place to work on some API stuff…maybe Crooners or something. Id do it in the room but I want to get drinks at the same time haha; and maybe people watch.

This is tough if you’re not in a deluxe balcony or minisuite+…there’s no PLACE to keep this inside the room; so it HAS to go outside, unfortunately.

I meant as an older person; they should have experienced all life has to offer.

Sorry to hijack; but I was two tables away from Phil..yes; there is a steak on the menu. So if you don’t eat seafood you can at least eat something at Catch

Went to the casino after the illusionist… again, played too long, lolz it’s now 3am, and I’m going to bed. i hit a couple small handpays..ended the night with $3000 on my casino bank. I think at my high water mark I was at $4000. I fired a $500 bullet into video poker and a $500 bullet into dragon link… I am now at 40,xxx points; which is just MIND BLOWING for me. (Considering I know it’s $5 per point for video poker; so that’s probably $150,xxx coin-in on video poker I’ve done… Got another comp; for Sabatini’s tommorow night. here’s the jackpots

This is hilarious..the people next to me are asking the waiter about meats; like they’ve literally never had a steak..”what is a ribeye? What is a New York?” And these are old people..that’s insane to me.

It’s so funny when I go places on the ship, and I say “just one”; the looks the staff give me. but then again, family is super important in countries not called USA…so they probably wonder what’s wrong with me.

Stopped in the casino before dinner reservation..saw my friends still playing dragon link; I played some video poker and was able to run up a profit on the session of $800..chipping away at it.

I took a nap after lunch (it hurts to stay up till 4am!) just milling around the room now. Got a comp to Crown Grille at 7:30. We’ll see; since I’m only a single, if I can get one more comp for Sabatini’s for tommorow night. (I don’t need one for Thursday as it’s lobster night in the MDR) After dinner tonight I definitely wanna go to the main theatre, to see the Illusionist. i MIGHT gamble after that (have $2500 in my casino bank from last night; after that I’m fully tapped at 10k)…I dunno though, because we’re moving clocks forward AGAIN tonight, so it’ll already be basically 11:00pm when the show gets out. I may go up to the Retreat tommorow after lunch; since it should be pretty empty since it’s a Port Day.

I concur; I’m in E105 right now. all the “nose of the ship” obstructed balconies are BIG balconies with no ACTUAL obstructions.

I also made a bowl of ramen once I found the sriracha! (Poor man’s ramen which I didn’t realize they have out every day actually; in front of the main food section there’s a small area with chicken broth, then all the ingredients for ramen…noodles, chicken, veggies)

Thanks all..don’t get me wrong; that “jackpot” did NOTHING to my overall loss; but it was a morale booster for sure. also; I was talking to the couple who’s killing dragon link..HE has 58,xxx points and SHE has like 25,xxx..and I told him that’s the most points I’ve seen anyone get on a 7 day; BY FAR..then a dude sits next to him, totally unassuming..THIS DUDE has 60,xxx points!! WOW! What’s going on, on this cruise!? EDIT: I myself cracked over 30,xxx last night. Which is CRAZY for me; because I don’t think I’ve ever got over 10,xxx points!

Jeeeeeze! so I went to the casino after catch, at 9:30…annnnd I didn’t leave until 3am! I didn’t even realize I was there that long!!! the good news, I FINALLY got a dang handpay (lol aces for $1207) The couple playing the dragon links were still there..and STILL absolutely crushing it hitting handpays ($1200+ every few minutes) just absolutely insane…I guess both ends of the spectrum..if you’d of told me I’d lose $10,000 playing no bigger than $10 spins, in 2.5 days..I’d of called you a liar..but if you’d of also told me this couple would hit close to $100k worth of jackpots in the same timeframe, I’d of equally not believed you… Anyway..here’s my “jackpot” photo

Appetizer..I also ordered a second appetizer (shrimp on the rocks) so I get the best of all worlds tonight (shrump, lobster and feeeesh) also had two old fashioned’s heading for a third.

Sat down at catch..funny; the gentleman sitting next to me recognized me from the slots..said “how are you doing? I seen you betting pretty good and had money in the machines”..i said “horrible..down $8000” and he said “ohh wow….silicon valley??” And I said; “good call; but still no one wants to lose $8000.” he thought because the other two gentleman that were playing next to me were winning like crazy, I was too..NOOOOPE. also; next to him is @sonomaphiland his wife (keep running into you! Haha) on another note; I noticed on my comp at the hostess desk it said “NO WINE!”..pretty stingy if you ask me, considering when they wrote it I was down $4000. i ordered the lobster appetizer and the “catch of the day” (dorade) here’s the bread plate with spread..
