If for some reason it wasn't at $50/$100 when I sat down, they generally would have it waiting on me at night, they would switch the table to hand shuffle at my request... I'm refuse to play with the automatic shufflers.

MSC usually has a $50 table, if for some reason they don't, just ask and they will change the limits if nobody is at the table. Last time we cruised MSC, they always opened a $100 table for me and allowed me to play 3 hands. Back then, the max bet was $500 per hand. I asked for it to be raised, but they said that approval has to come pre cruise, the casino director/manager does not have the power to increase limits.

I looked and could only find an old post, does NCL still use the Havensight cruise pier? We are cruising on the Encore in a couple weeks and was trying to set something up to do.. Thanks

I can provide a little more Information on the topic…. The 18 month timeframe is the general timeframe they can look back and pull an offer you earned from a prior cruise. For example, when we sailed back in 2019, I earned a free cruise certificate. When I called to book a cruise last month, they said I didn’t have any offers since I haven’t recorded any activity in a while. However, that does mean that the CAS rep couldn’t look back at my play and extend me some type of comp room to get me back in the ship, which they did. So, as far as an offer goes I would call back and speak with someone else. With regards to the No offer cause the cruise is filling up, I’ve never heard that before. We’ve booked the last day haven room multiple times and didn’t have any problem getting an offer. I’d call back and ask them to look at your history and please make you an offer.

Luckily, we have Iphones, so we get Imessages on the ship.. Last question, do they offer unlimited internet mid sailing for say half the price? We both have the free minutes, so expect that could last us a while with us being able to use out phones when we get land on port days.. I was also thinking about using the minutes to see how long they would last and then purchasing the internet.

We are staying in the haven and have the internet package, we don’t need to steam anything but may need to look up something for our business on the computer or receive text messages, will the upgraded interest be fine? Should we upgrade all the way up to premium?

I can confirm you are eligible To bid on an upgrade. However, you need to make sure you are enrolled to receive marketing emails. I cannot speak as to the timeframe when you will receive such upgrade opportunity.

If we see appetizers we like from the main dining room, are we able to order a couple of those in the Haven restaurant as well?

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense... When we were in the Bahamas, the entire island didn't wear masks or really care about Covid, but when we were in the airport terminal, they were so strict about masks etc.

If you eat at American Diner on embarkation day because you are in the Haven, is there a limit to what you can or cannot get? Can everyone in the party get an app, milkshakes, desert etc? Thanks in advance for the reply

We are unvaccinated and flew to the Bahamas over July 4th, I know they have different rules for if you fly vs. cruise to the Bahamas....

We were trying to get on the Apex or Beyond over thanksgiving, but it appears the retreat is fully booked, we need two rooms (one for 4 people and one for 3). We saw the Reflection was available, but being a slightly older ship, I wasn't sure how nice the retreat area was compared to newer ships.

Thanks, its worth a respectful email. We called about booking a cruise, but the process to get an exemption was details, but more importantly, they wanted you to book the cruise and then request the exemption. Then the timeline for an answer could be within two weeks of the cruise.

No, it was a FCC, they did not return any money. What they did was turn a 3 day cruise into 5 day cruise and went in a different direction. We had to be back by the 5th day and couldn't go, so they offered anyone who couldn't make the longer cruise FCC.

So, we were supposed to go on a cruise September of 2019, when a hurricane came and cancelled the cruise. Royal Caribbean gave everyone a FCC, which expired September of 2020. COVID hit in March of 2020 and we were unable to use our FCC. We are unvaccinated, so we were unable to use the credit until now. However, when I called Royal, they said it expired in 2021. I asked to speak with a Manager and the FFC department said it was policy and nothing they can do. Until now, we've been unable to cruise, and don't really believe its fair the credit expired. What does everyone else think? Anyone have any contact info they could pass I could reach out to?
