  1. I recall there being wine bottle specials upon boarding near the specialty restaurant reservation area. Anyone seen this recently? The last time I bought at a restaurant, it was $27 + 20% for a low cost merlot.
  2. Ship WiFi is separate and different than internet access, which you have to log on and off everytime.
  3. Everything is separate including his own purchasing (key card) and activities. Separate bills at the end
  4. On your ncl app, your plans, under the transfer tab you can enter your flight info and see if they offer a shuttle and your price. If acceptable to you then you, add-check out and pay.
  5. Hi, looking at island map, I am curious where or how you get to departure point of tour? I am also interested in whale watch tour and it list departure point at some distance from cruise terminal. Thanks in advance.
  6. Under bed, just like the other ships. Just no skirt to hide it.
  7. They have pretty good gluten protocol. but deserts were limited. Teppanyaki has been prepared gluten free and of course alot of courses are pre-prepared for your next days meals when you speak to maitre D of your dining venue choices day before. Definitely go...
  8. I've heard Sitka is a nice stop, certainly better than Valdez.
  9. Heard on the ship, that due to waste water holding tank capacity and presumably new dumping/emission rules, they are route limited. I have read that other Coast routes (Amalfi) were also canceled. I think the older technology on this ship now has emission limitations. I was burned as well.
  10. Yes, all inside passages for the Spirit have been canceled. All at Sea now.
  11. My experience is precharge $100 within a day or two, then a precharge toward the end of the cruise then the final charge at end or shortly after with all others dropping off.
  12. They will take a picture of you upon checking-in if not to their standard. It happens often to me so I use a cropped picture that is acceptable to App. I didn't know about credit card issue, maybe addresses/name didn't match. I select cash and add my credit card info at 2 days to avoid mishaps.
  13. 1.5 to 2.0 hours. Teppanyaki is the quickest because everything but dessert is right there.
  14. It is likely to be offered again once on ship.
  15. NCL greeter meets you at luggage carousel. They will escort you to bus waiting area where you sit with luggage and attach your NCL room tags that you have prepared at home. When informed to board bus, you roll your luggage to bus where the bus driver loads in bus. Upon arrival at ship terminal you will wait in bus while the luggage is unloaded. You claim your luggage and usually within a few feet the dock porters will prompt you to utilize their services, which is generally required, tips expected.
  16. My opinion based on my recent experience and other posters. Not NCL!
  17. They advertise 8 on every ship I've been on! Marketing is $1000 OBC...
  18. For entire cruise, each account (key card) buys it.
  19. $9.99 it's available on your app and TV once on board. Just remember that sometimes it doesn't notify you. I believe you also can call.
  20. It happened to me for Inside passage in Alaska. Not right. I believe at the right price, they can still fill those ships with limited itineraries. Just do not sell me a cruise that is not sailing the published route.
  21. Ship will break bills, bring hundred dollar bills. Stuff is pretty reasonable there. Take small bills ashore.
