  1. I have a cruise in Sept. and NCL just mailed me sticky color coded luggage tags kind of like the type they use at the airport for checked bags with the stateroom number. I bought the suggested luggage tag holders from Amazon but I guess I don't need them now.
  2. Yes just partial payment. That could be the issue. So why offer that as an option?
  3. I also tried two regular credit cards( Chase and Citi) online several times and got declines. The odd thing was my initial deposit was made online with a prepaid card and went through. I even tried using a different computer and browser.
  4. I was the OP and never was able to get the payment to work online. I called in and my prepaid cards (received as retirement gifts to take this trip) were all declined although we were able to use them online and in store with many other retailers. They were able to get my regular credit card to work making the payment by phone. I'm crossing my fingers that it works when I call in to make final payment. NCL really needs to fix this issue. Don't they want our money?
  5. Yes to this. I've been stressing all day. I am weeks out from final payment but luckily I called about changing my room and asked about adding the soda package because I can't get any kind of payment to work on the NCL website only to find out I had added six soda packages none of which showed in the cart or on my invoice or credit card. All I would get when I tried to add it was a "your credit card has been declined and the item removed from your cart." message. I am stressed to think some rogue soda package I can't even see and the rep forgot to remove is going to get my whole cruise cancelled.
  6. Interesting about the auto payment error. I can't understand why the system wouldn't even let me make a partial payment. I have a computer heavy office job and am an avid online shopper so I hate to think it's me 🙂
  7. This scares me because I have had nothing but issues with the NCL website. Every time I try to make a payment with any type of card, I get a decline and it also tells me I am trying to set up auto payment which I am not. I tried to add the soda package and kept getting declined and told the item was removed from the cart. I tried with several different credit cards. I called in and the rep was able to process it. She also told me I had six soda packages added! How was that when the cart was supposed to have those items removed (and it showed no soda package in the cart)? So I can totally believe the story. Their website is a disaster. When I do make final payment I am going to make sure I call in and also have them check nothing is left in my cart. I sure won't be adding excursions or anything after the final payment.
  8. No I booked directly through NCL, it's my PCC I am talking about not a travel agent.
  9. I've contacted my TA a number of times via email (to upgrade my room and with questions) and never got a response. He called me once early on but I had already booked on my own. I ended up calling in the 800 number to upgrade our stateroom. I'm going to check into the other suggestions as well. My itinerary shows us leaving Juneau at 2:15. I will try calling the TA during the week to get some sort of answer. Thanks for all the help for this rookie.
  10. Another odd thing. When I look at the same cruise now on NCL as if I were starting a new booking, it gives the evening arrival time. When I look at my booking, it still shows the 1PM arrival.
  11. Oops sorry for mentioning the warehouse store. I wasn't aware. Yes the cruise shows a sea day prior to arrival in Victoria.
  12. I'm taking my first Alaska cruise and specifically chose a 9 day with NCL because of port times and Glacier Bay. I was especially looking forward to a full day in Victoria BC , wanting to visit Butchart Gardens and this cruise showed a port time of 1-midnight. My booking shows this time in port as well on NCL website. However I have been watching the prices and noticed Costco Travel has the port time as 6:30PM -midnight for the same cruise. I also pulled up this info from the pier https://gvha.ca/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Ogden-Point-Cruise-Ship-Schedule.pdf' which shows a port time of 9-midnight. (It's the NCL Sun arriving 9/12/23). Who do I believe?

  15. Thanks for the suggestions but I guess I am going to have to try their tech support. It is definitely on their end. I have tried two different credit cards from different banks and also three different prepaid cards from different vendors (which get entered just like a credit card) and they have all declined instantly. The error message also tells me I am trying to set up auto payment, which I am not. I never ticked the box for that.
