21 of us booked a private tour in Jamaica and we got back with just a few minutes to spare. There were some anxious moments sitting in traffic seeing the ship in the distance!

So two questions....
Shots are included then as part of cheers?
Can we upgrade to premium liquors if the drink remains under $10?
Yes to both. On the Dream last week they demanded that we not use Skyy vodka. :p

Price of wine depends on what wine you choose... anywhere from 5.50 plus tip to 9.50 plus tip. so, if you drink the 9.50 wine which you are at almost 11.00 per wine, so break even is 5 even without any other purchases such as soda. However, if your drink the cheaper wine, you are looking at 9 drinks
There is also a glass in the MDR available that is exactly $10.00. Pouilly-Fuisse or something. I love getting that one on Cheers most. :p

I would pass. We had a suite on the Pride and it was just a bigger room with a bath. There was no real perks with it like other lines
I loved the jacuzzi tub! Used it all the time.

You can also make the request through specialneeds@carnival.com prior to sailing.

I just disembarked as well and #7312 stayed cold, not just cool. Turned it up several times.

It might be on the website but it's not on the ship. No priority Debarkation on the Splendor in July. Only priority embarkation is provided otherwise you need to purchase FTTF even when in a suite.
Priority debarkation was offered to those in suites last week on the Dream.

I've never seen the steakhouse full much less sold out but I hear it happens on occasion. The complimentary wine is on nights one and two.
-
I don't know the actual temperature but I can say that #7312 on the Dream stays cold. We had to turn it up several times.

I was on the cruise following yours. To add to some of what you wrote and has already been answered, cabin #7312 stays COLD not just cool, people started checking in around 9:30am, and (at least in the casino bar) if you have Cheers the bartenders actually make sure you get your receipt for the match play coupon.

If they catch you sharing they will cancel your Cheers package.
While nominally that may make sense, in reality they will just tell you that it is not allowed and then walk away, per witnessing this very issue last week.

According to the story posted today by Cruise Critic, the percentage of passengers that invoked the guarantee during the first year of having it was 0.00104%.

On Freedom also 9201 holds two occupants and 9200 holds four.
-
There were folks checking in at 9:30am this past Sunday in New Orleans. I was walking off unfortunately. :(

I have a suitcase that has held up pretty well for 9 cruises but time to upgrade I think. My other half bought a Timberland rolling bag for our last cruise and it held up nicely.

Just got off the Dream a couple of days ago and had Cheers for the fourth time. Maxed it out three days... one day didn't get a single drink on it. Came out ahead again. The Dream allowed me to purchase alcohol before I reached my 15th but was a hard cut-off at 15.

They sell out quickly and CCL doesn't always put them in the online inventory.Book early. And if you don't see them available online, call. I just booked one for the second time and it never showed available on Carnival's site.
Agreed. I booked a 6K and it never showed online but both were available over the phone.

Just disembarked the Dream two days ago and #7312 stayed cold. We had to regularly turn it up a bit as it was too cold at times.

This set is current as of May.

Upsell fairy e-mailed me yesterday, 3 days before embarkation. I called him back immediately and took the offer.
-
One of our friends joined us for it and she is gluten-free. She enjoyed it.

We leave on the Dream in two days - thanks for the updated menu! I wasn't going to do it again if it was the old one.

I stayed in R11 and the thrusters weren't bothersome but the sound of waves hitting the hull were.
-
I tried booking there for 12/5 and said sold out. Do you know why they are not taking bookings if rooms are available?
No, I wish I knew because that was my first choice in hotel.
Did you bring a fan? If so, how big?

We take this one for white noise only. Wouldn't recommend it for cooling.
