  1. The final thing that was lacking was the Christmas Decorations. This ship had hardly any. I was also use to other Ships with a Gingerbread village and there were none here.

Did you watch me win the ugly Christmas sweater contest? I hope I brought those present some Christmas cheer. ;)

We had a blast on this cruise and I thought the staff was fantastic. I had two buckets of ice in my room daily by asking on day one. Stayed on board in Grand Cayman due to the tendering issue on the south side of the island.

All in all a great cruise!

  2. Unfortunately Blue Hole is not an available excursion through my cruise line, so I may have to give up on Ocho Rios. My reasoning being the cost of transportation, which turns a cheap excursion into one of the most expensive.

It is easy to get a group together and split the cost. We had a group of 31 on our cruise that booked a private tour from Montego Bay up to Blue Hole. It was well worth it!

  3. Do the lines get longer for boarding the ship as the early afternoon goes along? Or do most people try to board the first couple hours? And when is the latest you can board?

It will be less crowded at, say, 1:30 than at 11:30. From Carnival:

Note: You must check in at least 1 ½ hours prior to departure or risk cancellation of your reservation.
