As the Fascination does 4/5 day itineraries, yes it is available. I had it on Fascination last November.

A couple of months ago the first one left at 10:30 or so. However, they did not have room for luggage beneath the bus so they used passenger seats for some of the luggage, meaning the bus did not leave at capacity. It was annoying but we got on the second one and were on board around 12:15.

The best shot is called Sex in the Pool. It is supposedly something they have made up there. It is amazing.

We will have my 85 yo mother with us and I don't want to leave her on the beach while we go off in a boat.
She will be fine. I witnessed a medical emergency there a couple of months ago and they had EMTs there within minutes -- if that is your concern.

We had 5 or 6 rooms booked in Galveston through Hotwire this past April. We got the Howard Johnson Express which is not a particularly nice hotel, but it was only $45.

I will be cruising out of FLL later this year for the first time. Need to dive head-first into the Florida departures forum, as there are hundreds and hundreds of pages on similar topics.

I took 6393 because it was midship and just heard that the empty space is the pax laundry room so I just put earplugs on my shopping list :)
can I ask you why you switched ?
Two portholes as opposed to a true "interior" room.

Just doing a quick search by my method, I can find them through November. It's probably too soon for anything later than that right now.
I just booked a no solo supplement cruise for December. The best method is by doing a mock booking, but I also check the GoCCL.com website for when they update their list.

Is there a major airport there?
One of the factors I take into consideration is airfare into Jacksonville, which is relatively dirt cheap from Nashville. Unfortunately for me, the vast majority of cruisers out of the Charleston/Savannah/Jacksonville market drive to port.

Yes.

I snagged one of the A1 cabins on the 6th level for the same trip. My flight was more expensive !

I assume you got 6224. I had 6227 but just switched to 2217.

It is by far my favorite bar on board. It is strictly a martini bar - can't order a beer or a Jack and Coke. The mixologists are amazing at creating drinks. You can name a certain flavor or style and they will come up with something for you - ordering outside of the menu is encouraged.
-
Not certain if you booked a 1A on that, but just noticed that 2216 and 2217 are still in inventory for that sailing . . . which, in my opinion, are the best of the 1As for that $319 price. They have the double port holes and a sofa.
.
Thanks - I wasn't certain #2217 had them. Just switched to that cabin.

I definitely do but I can't find his business card. I will keep looking!

Note that in the last couple of days Carnival has removed the supplement on many cruises later this year. Just booked one for December.
-
Just booked December 7th on the Freedom, 6 nights for $319.
-
Most 2.0 ships have them at the Alchemy Bar now.
-
It appears that many solo rates for later this year have recently been released. Just booked the Freedom for 12/7, 6 nights at $319.

I loved Coconuts the best but I have no idea about swimming. We only got in the water at the first stop (the "fanciest" of the bars).

The prizes for bingo have mostly changed on the ship. No longer, except the last 2 days, are people awarded cash for bingo. Instead, the winner receives the award to be credited to their sail and sign account. This can be a problem if you don’t charge a lot on your card.
I won several years ago and was never given the option of getting it in cash. Any positive balance over $5.00 is refunded in the form of a check after your cruise.

I will be doing a full review when I get back in September.
Don't let us down! :)

That would make super happy! I love in outside of Huntsville, AL which has one of the most expensive airports in the nation. We have to fly out of Nashville to save money.
The Nashville -> New Orleans air fares rock. $96 roundtrip my last two cruises from there.
-
We are staying at the Astor Crowne Plaza and the Maison-Dupuy in September, both Hotwire rates for around ~$80.
Mickey's new ride- Nice!

Boo, they blocked it from tracking on FlightAware. :p
