Should have offered it to your roll call for $60 then rebooked. :D

It is going to be tough finding an excellent solo rate in August on Carnival. I have gotten the best solo rates with them in April and November.
-
Also please alert specialneeds@carnival.com before your cruise.

I called them a year ago and told them I was missing a cruise from 1999 or 2000 and it was sometime in the spring and I booked with a ta and it was on Destiny out of San Juan. They emailed me a week or two later to let me know it was Miracle out of San Juan in the fall of 2001 and they had added it. I gave them 90% wrong info and they still found me. I told them I was with dawn xx and Cathy xx and buck xx and I think they found me from that (even though none of them have cruised since)
The Miracle's first voyage was in 2004.

On a whim, I booked a 6J on the Freedom, its their new inside cabins with the window. Excited to try it.
Those are indeed nice rooms but are classified as scenic oceanviews, not interiors.
-
I love watching football on it on Mondays/Saturdays/Sundays on fall sailings.
-
Maybe so but Wonderful World is one of my favorites!

The lowest I have booked was 5 nights out of Jacksonville for $189, but $259-$319 seems much more common.

:( that is exactly where we are on Vista deck. we have 3 aft balconies with friends.
Any suggestions on how to deal with the noise? Should we call someone if it is loud, guest services? What is the noise, and is there anything they can do to stop it?
It will occur in the morning when they unstack chairs on Lido. I had a balcony cabin right under Lido on my first cruise and learned the hard way.

Someone was able to book that room recently under the 4J rate since those cabin numbers were originally the interior with walkway views on Lido. Lucky dogs. :p

We went to passion island a few years ago. I dont remember how we bookded. ( I really need to start writing these details down) Anyway. we took a regular boat out. Not the Twister Speed boat. The ride was fast enough for me. The beach was nice. Great food, volleyball, and very peacful. If you go....enjoy!
We did the same excursion. It was a normal double-decker passenger boat.

We have booked them for September. Looking forward to a recent review.

Hotwire.

The best way of meeting people is finding your Cruise Critic roll call, or your roll call on a social media website that cannot be mentioned here.

I have gotten the TN resident rate on two cruises out of New Orleans.

Love Jacksonville for the cheap airfare from Nashville!

I loved #2445 on the Triumph. Classified as a 1A but has two oceanview windows.

Anyone have current western Fun Times they can post?
Current Fun Times for both western itineraries and the eastern itinerary are located here: http://johnhealdsblog.com/funtimes/2014-05-14/Carnival%20Dream/
Does anyone know how big the jogging track is and also if people usually run on Deck 5?One lap on the track is 738 feet (225 meters). Seven laps is approximately one mile. No jogging on deck 5 I would think as there are chairs, the lanai, etc.

I did self-assist off the Triumph and used a Carnival transfer. Got to Hobby around 9:30am.
-
I would love to see Carnival expand their west coast sailing!
I wouldn't mind seeing them return to San Diego. The terminal was a breeze and I love the area.
-
nice to know I am not the only one looking and not finding the deck plans!
I am especially interested in where on deck 5 the Red Frog Pub went?
-
It is a standard menu which is available on these boards somewhere.
$75/pp.
When we did it on a Spirit-class ship it was held in the nightclub.
-
But what secret decks? Our booking is for the Conquest.
On decks 6, 7 and 10 go all the way forward down the hallway and you can go outside there. These areas are what this refers to.

I sailed solo out of Galveston a couple of weeks ago. $329 for 5 nights on the Triumph.
