I was first in line to see the maitre d on the Fascination (1pm) and, while we had to change from early to late dining, we were accommodated to a table for 2.

Fries, hot dogs, chili for the dogs, chicken tenders. That type fare.

And then they could send Triumph back to New Orleans to do five day cruises and I would dance with joy!

I can't imagine that they would not have 7-nighters out of New Orleans.

I tended to agree with this sentiment in the past but I found a very reasonably priced solo cruise on the Triumph in April and used Southwest points for the airfare.

I loved the winery tour through Carnival.

You could book a couple of more cruises for $880. I say no.

Keep in mind that you can only see 10 available cabins when you are price checking. Those that are displayed may just happen to be on one side or the other. It is not indicative of the popularity of port v. starboard.

The no solo supplement list was updated Friday on the GoCCL website.

$249 for a couple for the week if I'm not mistaken. Alternately, you can stay in one of the Cloud 9 cabins and receive the same for no supplement.

2- what time did you board the ship

Around 11:30am.

3- rumor has it they now have all stateroom available when you board so you can drop off luggage anybody found this to be true or not

My cabin was ready at 11:30 and I did not have FTTF. Was rather surprised.

4- what type of shows do they have now

Divas, Motor City.

I've had Cheers on the Fascination once. No problems at all.

the price for our cabin was under 1k and if we chose the balcony it would of been 400 more not sure if we made the right decision...

I would hope it was WELL under 1K. Sailing on the Fascination is very economical.

There will be a person with a sign in baggage claim. Can't miss them on embarkation days.

If you go to the GoCCL website, they update their solo sailings list approximately every 15 days. It seems to be more up-to-date than the list on Carnival.com.

If you booked Early Saver you can get price protection up until 2 days before departure. They will only upgrade you past final payment date if you booked under a different rate (i.e. past guest).

I've done it on the Fascination and the Conquest. I wouldn't have done it again except that I was with people that hadn't done it before that I knew would enjoy it.

I will give it a fair chance, and honestly, I could be on a cargo ship and have fun just eating and looking at the ocean.

I would go on a container ship cruise in a heartbeat! Most of them have a couple of passenger cabins. Unfortunately most of the sailings are several weeks in duration.

They will muddle fresh ginger for you if you ask. We would give them a list of ingredients they didn't normally carry the day before (a couple at most) and they would have them the next day prepared to make cocktails with them.

The list is up to date as of 2/6 and I suspect will be updated twice monthly going forward, give or take.

Both of the solo cruises I have booked have been prior to final payment date.

Ships go into the waves when practical, not broadside against them. It would take something truly unprecedented (including human error) for something akin to capsizing to take place.
