  1. Order some flowers for her cabin. Price isn’t too unreasonable, arrangements are nice and they last at least a week.
  2. On the bliss last year, was talking with a pax (who was in show biz) and wondered if some of the cast from Prohibition was also in Six. He said it couldn’t be as Six (and ostensibly other production shows I guess) were equity actors and only performed accompanied with live music. Thought that was a rather interesting tidbit, hadn’t really thought about the different levels of productions / class system.
  3. There are a few ways to book shows onboard, all quite easy. While waiting to board you can usually grab the ships Wi-Fi and connect the my NCL app and reserve whatever you need. once on board you can book through the interactive kiosk displays (near elevators and other scattered locations), at the theater box office, or head directly to the social (deck 6 mid) and fill out all of your requested dates/times.
  4. Were you not able to get a handicap accessible room? Obviously that would be the best solution. IMO NCL does a fantastic job with their accommodations for disabilities. Talk to NCL and see what they can do (prob depends on ship, cabin location). You may be able to keep the scooter at guest services, or talk to your cabin attendant. This has worked for my mom in the past when she was not able to get a ha cabin. ‘The other thing I’d note is to make sure you have a plan for embark and disembark. The scooter will be left in your cabin, and you just leave it there when you disembark, but then that person doesn’t have a scooter to use at the pier. Disembark usually not too bad; you’ll be given a location to meet for disembark assistance and (eventually) somebody will wheel you off….but make sure guest services knows in advance.
  5. The joy has a 2 br inside suite that is pretty nice. The suites on the joy aren’t haven but do have some perks.
