The OP says "When I complete the form it gives me an error that I am not eligible for waitlist." This would indicate that there is some sort of way to access that information outside of the e-mail that you have described. Other links that were shared here don't seem to be active anymore, as you stated.

Not eligible means it's not available for that sailing.  We had people on my Horizon sailing who didn't see the email and missed the deadline so they were denied the exemption. They were told there was no way to access the form.

What link are you using where you are still able to access/fill out the form even? The links I have seen take you automatically to a message about capacity controls.

Carnival sent out emails with links to the exemption form for sailings that require vaccinations. On my sailing we only had a few days to fill it out before the link was deactivated and at that time no more requests were accepted.

  3. The 5% is mainly children but adults are also receiving exemptions.

The vaccine requirement came after most people booked and for my sailing 3 days before the final payment.   Also, most of the summer sailings are over sold so they haven't had too many more book

Sorry, I don't understand what you are saying? What people Saturday are waiting on what decision? Were only the first cruises going to be 95% and it could go lower, is that what you are saying?

The people waiting on exemptions are waiting to hear if they're sailing so just filling out the assessment won't open up any more space.  The first 2 months are supposed to be 95%

I wonder how that is going to work? When everyone is done with filling out their vaccine survey and it comes to 50/50, they going to start picking who gets booted and refund their money and then open the cruise up to new bookings?

Anyone have any thoughts? I was asked over the phone if I was vaccinated so maybe if I said no they would have not even let me book?

No.  They don't make decisions quickly.  There are still people waiting on a decision for the Saturday sailings.

yes, it appears most people here don't understand how the Judicial branch works.  Yes, the current judge refused to stay the order until the appeal is heard, but that doesn't stop the CDC from asking the appellate court to stay the ruling.  If the appellate court stays/doesn't stay the order then that is pretty telling in how they would rule on the CDC appeal.  If the appellate court thinks there is any chance the CDC would succeed in their appeal, they would stay the order to prevent chaos from the rules changing.

The CDC filled this morning to stay the injunction

  7. IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED – HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE

    Dear Carnival Guest,

We are looking forward to welcoming you aboard your cruise this weekend.

In a communication to you last week, we requested that you visit our website to complete our health questionnaire/vaccine survey for each member of your traveling party.

It is now necessary for us to receive a printed version of the health questionnaire.  Consequently, we are kindly requesting that you print the COVID-19 Pre-boarding Health Declaration and complete it for each guest on your reservation.  The completed document must be hand-carried to the cruise terminal for check-in this weekend.  Having it completed in advance will greatly expedite your health screening process on embarkation day.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this request may cause and thank you for your understanding.

    See you soon!

    Sincerely,

    Colleen Oliverio

This is sort of relevant and I hope it helps someone.

After reading this I started to wonder what happens if I lost it, blah, blah, blah....and can I just get a back up. Not a copy, but a duplicate to have as a spare.

Here is what I learned, at least in Florida.

This is the EASIEST way.....I am not saying only way

I got my Vax at a CVS, so I went to my CVS this morning.

My vax card in hand to "make it easier."

They said if I lose it, they are the place to come to for a replacement, but they cannot supply a duplicate. The VAX cards themselves are highly regulated.

So go where you got it to get a new one if you need it.

No spares or duplicate vax cards allowed

For my daughter and wife, CVS sent a detailed confirmation email after the 2nd dose.  It has all the information that Carnival recommends for verification if needed.

Just look at Carnival desserts on the buffet. They look good but the taste or texture is off.

My wife says the same thing everytime we see a vlog showing the desserts.

How do they tell who is vaccinated and who is not?

I assume the unvaccinated need to wear masks much of the time.

On the ships masks are optional for the unvaccinated except in places like the arcade and spa.  They must wear them on all the bubble tours plus at the terminal which is the same for the vaccinated.

Prior to boarding we have had to state the vaccination status and at boarding they ask for the card or the exemption letter. The status is listed in the profile so when guests leave the ship they will know if the passenger needs a bubble tour or if the can go off on their own

There are no exemptions issued at the port so if someone doesn't show the card they are denied boarding.

Thanks for sharing your experiences!  We will be on the 7/17 cruise.  Just curious, have they said what kind of reduced occupancy they are operating at?  Our cruise is no longer showing available to book.  Just wondering if we will be a reduced sailing, or if they filled it up.

The first 2 have gone out at little less than 60%.

My August cruise still doesnt have the Health Assessment back yet. It disappeared earlier today.  I wonder if the decision by the judge today against the CDC has any bearing on the so called 'glitch' and whether or not the HA will return.

No. The website was having issues all day.  I couldn't make a final payment on my September cruise so I called my PVP and he said the system was very glitchy.

I don't suppose you have a Princess cruise booked?  They were the first cruise I went on and I bought liquor ahead of time for room delivery.  I think it was about $18-$24 a pint. The next cruise I went on was Carnival and I was astounded at the $90 a liter average rate.  I've often wondered if Princess ever caught up with the times, but one has to have a cruise booked with them to price them.

No. I was looking at doing an Alaska cruise next year but we already have one booked next summer on the Mardi Gras so my wife said no for now.

So we travel next month to two stops in the Bahamas (Nassau and HMC).  WE are vaxxed so we should be able to go out on our own, but the Bahamas show the following requirements. Does this mean if we want to get off the ship for a regular tour, a bubble tour, or on our own we have to do this?

All persons travelling to The Bahamas, and those travelling inter-island, are required to apply for a Bahamas Travel Health Visa at travel.gov.bs.

    VACCINATED TRAVELLERS

    • Fully vaccinated travellers will be required to upload valid proof of vaccination (such as CDC or government issued vaccine record card) in lieu of PCR test requirement.

    • For international travellers, proof of vaccination must confirm they have passed the two-week immunity period.

    •  At this time The Bahamas Government will only be accepting vaccines by Pfizer Moderna, Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca

The health visa is only if you're flying.

It was mentioned that if you weren't vaccinated you had to do bubble excursions, masks on boards etc...  Once you check in and show your card, how does the crew know that you are vaccinated?  Wrist band?  On you sail & sign card?

It doesn't matter because it's a vaccinated cruise and masks are not generally required for the unvaccinated.
