  2. @PacnGoNow I am happy to report, that I have received only 2 and correct medallions for my husband and I 😀. Nothing extra. Of course, at the same time, the app reverted back saying that I need to pick up the medallions in the port 🙃.

  4. If you have not done it yet, on disembarkation, you should have received the survey where you can add your feedback about these specific musicians. I'll be on Ruby Princess in few weeks and can get some additional information. Passengers feedback is very important to these musicians, since it may help them to be called back for another contract once current contract is over. They usually return back home as soon as the contract is over. I had a nice chat with couple of ukrainian pianists a year ago on Royal Princess. They were amazing and I left the feedback right there on the spot through the app which they shared with me.

  6. My medallion's order was completely screwed up. I had to contact customer service which was then escalated to IT to get it fixed...I have received a confirmation that I will get what I have "ordered". My cart (which i could not order due to extra items) has included 2 medallions to my name and another set to unnamed Guest...I am patiently waiting what am I going to recieve when time comes 😂...Not worried at all...
  7. Thank you for the tip. It'll be my second trip on Ruby this year, and I'll be certainly looking for Pavlova. I found few pictures on the web and don't recall it in IC on Ruby or Royal. I'll even try checking the buffet 😆 daily even though in the past we were not frequent visitors. Now, I need to shed few pounds before boarding that 16 days cruise to Hawaii 😂.
  8. Counting days till getting my daily almond croissants for breakfast. I've never seen Pavlova, but will pay more attention next time. Brie sandwiches and few other varieties are really good.
  9. We have used WhatsApp most of the time while at sea. For every sort of communication. No lagging, no delays.
  10. I have decided to check how much we paid exactly a year ago for a White Pass with Chilkoot for the train round trip for 2. It was $500.
  11. I have also taken this round trip by train and we loved it, although it was a long train ride. It has been only a year ago and I don't remember how much it was, but it likely was lower than today. One of most memorable excursions was a rafting tour in the river near Mendenhall glacier. So much fun.

  13. Yes, I've seen it happening too, and later realized it does not work if you navigate from you active session where you are already logged in. You need to log out first and only then click to the 'web version' link and then it works. I recommend to bookmark the page and login from that everytime you need to access web version.
  14. Yes, exactly same situation with a guest without a name, AND extra medallion under my name. No delete button to remove those extraneous entries. I started the chat with customer support, who of course could not do anything on their side and have escalated to another department. In about a week, I have received my medallion order confirmation with exactly same extra items. So I guess, when I'll receive it for my upcoming cruise, it'll stay as extra souvenir on my fridge.
  15. Keeping all of evacuees in thoughts and prayers too. My parents are in Colusa, and the only complaint that it has been incredibly hot.
  16. What amazes me an absence of basic software functions. In this situation with medallions a missing "delete" button in the shopping cart. I was even afraid to accidentally add an expensive accessory and not been able to delete it 😂. Even customer support does not have additional functions to help frustrated customers. Customer service is not able to provide you with an escalation number as your proof of complaint to track an escalation. Such a basic customer's needs, right?
  17. I was able to book Botticelli private table today on Ruby for entire trip. So far reservations are holding, but someone on our Facebook group reported that reservations have disappeared after a short while.
  18. Yes, I have chatted with customer support, but it could not be resolved right away since they don't have any additional tools to go around the problem. It has been escalated to IT, and about a week later I have received an Order Confirmation for my medallions. Order still listing an extra 'guest" with medallion and lanyard, and extra medallion under my name. No idea what they going to send me, but as long as I am getting our medallions, I'll be fine 😆.
  19. Yes, each to his own...We found Princess wines with Plus package undrinkable 😆, and we are not really wine connoisseurs either.
  20. On my Alaska cruise, I've seen crew handling water bottles to anyone who wanted on exiting the ship, no medallions scanning. On my Panama Canal cruise, no such thing, you are responsible on getting your own water ahead of time.
  21. My Travel Checklist is green mark checked. But for some reason I have a "Guest" without a name in my Medallion cart AND an extra Medallion under my name. All extras have Edit button, but editing/removing is not possible since there is no such function. Is there an email address by any chance for tech support with app? I could send screenshots to support if needed and maybe they can just reset my medallion cart. Hate calling or staying on line for a support chat.
  22. Having problem ordering medallions. For some reason, in addition to medallion and lanyard each of my and my husband names, I see a "Guest" medallion and lanyard, and an extra medallion under my name. All extras have Edit button, but in fact I am not able to remove anything from the Cart. Finalize order takes me to the 'Finalize your order' loop. Anyone have seen this issue or aware of one?
  23. We were on Jan 29th sailing and returned to Colon at about 6 or 6:30pm from old lock transit excursion...No problem returning on board, just keep walking and there were 3 entrances to re-board, easy peasy...
  24. Sailing and seeing Alaska with Royal Princess - no problems, Alaska was great. Now that I am able to compare Royal Princess to Ruby Princess (sailing partial transit Panama canal), my first negative opinion would go to entertainment team on Royal. I did not expect to see such a huge difference. Ruby was much, much better. But two production shows are still nay...rest are awesome. Food quality is pretty much the same between two ships in MDR, but buffett is smaller on Ruby. Did not experience other significant differences.
