Moving this subject up due to wedding and vow renewal season. Any words of wisdom? We are renewing our vows on Adventure during our May cruise. So far the planning is good. It will just be the two of us, but I'm sure many of you will have bigger affairs. How goes?

I appreciate you even asking. That is a sign of a very thoughtful person. BUT you would still be a chair(s) hog. I agree if your family wants a good spot and a good chair, they should be out there with you and remain to use them. If not, stand around with the rest of us that make the decision to take our chances.

Carefully so as not to spill it.
Seriously, it's really easy just to order it and have it waiting in your cabins. The logistics to what you are attempting are really rough. In this case, I would "splurge" (if you can). Have fun after all is accomplished.

It's true, Vintages is way too quiet a spot. The only people we usually saw in there at night were ships' officers in uniforms and guests and other higher up staff with pins on nice evening wear. Hummm makes you wonder

Though we may never say anything...WE appreciate your timely list. Good to come here and know we can find who we are sailing with. Thank you for keeping this going. Feel better as you recoup.

Please read my post #61. I think you misunderstood my meaning.
I'm sorry. My comment was not to you but the comment you highlighted.

And, if they don't? Do you have anything constructive to suggest?
Have you ever tried to get long term care?? If you have and were lucky enough to get it, consider yourself blessed. It is NOT easy and it is very hard to find and qualify for it. So don't assume they didn't try.

...and this was in 2017-2018? Why are you "warning" us now??

I once wrote to Royal and asked them for the recipe of the Coconut Mojito and they actually sent it to me! DEE LICH!

It's all H2O....water. Your body only needs those 2 things...hydrogen and oxygen, made into a liquid. Your body doesn't care if it's from a "spring", a tap, or a cactus....honestly. It's all the same thing. So is what the ship uses for your food, drinks and ice! H2O
Gosh! I'm not asking for the WATER I'm asking for getting what I pay for. If I want another water brand than just Brand X (purified) vs Spring can I get it without paying extra for it. No reason to get in a tizzy.

My thought as a business model, it's cheaper to give you purified water rather than Evian or Pelligrino. I just ask for premium water and I get whatever that is for the ship. Most times it's been Evian, but if I just ask for bottled water, I get the purified water with my drink package.
So I don't have to accept just brand X bottled water? I can ask for Evian for example and get it as part of the Refreshment package? I would assume that to change that they would have to be more specific to deny you a premium water brand.

It was nice and sunny when we got up. Then all of a sudden, something blocked out the sun. Harmony just arrived.
Bob, I know this is "off topic" but what is the email for the Big Man at Royal? I have a bone to pick. Thanks. Ev

The bottled water that is part of an unlimited beverage package is whatever they decide to give you. You are not guaranteed any specific brand.
Thanks for clarifying.

Why is it if we are allowed bottled still water OR sparkling water, when you go to get a bottle of water, they just give you brand X water? I have only once been given Evian (and was shocked to get it). I guess you have to specifically ask for sparkling or a brand name?

I make mine on Zazzle.

Do you cut up your tags or fold them up to stick in the plastic sleeves so they fit? I find they are SO thick but I do fold them so they are still visible front and back.

Anyone ever get additional discounts of perks from their travel agency when paying for the cruise on day 1 instead of using deposit method?
You so funny

Hi All
I totally understand all your comments regarding this issue and I thank you for reading them and passing on your comments.
I booked the cruise via a travel agent and when I asked about an accessible cabin for my wife I received an email saying originally that it was the same price as a normal cabin
I asked the agent to reserve the accessible cabin but later that day I got another email saying that because I was not a US Citizen RCI could not offer me that cabin for the same rate as a normal cabin
If there is more to this story than simply wanting to charge a none US disabled Citizen more money for an accessible cabin I wish RCI would tell me
I would pick up the phone and call Royal and ask them their policy in regards to this matter. Find out if it is an American with Disabilities protection issue or a cabin category issue regardless of Nationality. YOU must be your own advocate. Don't blame anyone or any country. Find out for yourself.

Just for future reference there is now insurance you can get that includes change of ports of call. Also, you can include your before and after expenses and plans in your insurance quote. If you get this type of insurance you could have still taken the cruise then gotten some money from the insurance company to ease the pain of change of ports.
Many people cruise and/or travel for special occasions so that isn't going to factor into Royal's response.
Do you have the name of this company?

I had one cutey in my hands for 30% off but gave it up to someone else. Still not worth it to me. That was the average off on the cruise I was on.

Yes. Both husband and I have the Crown and Anchor on our ankle. Mine is on my left inner ankle, his on his right. Have had them for about 2 years now. Love them. Have gotten some free swag on board :) but not Pinnacle status LOL.
Ours cost around $200 each. No "REGERTS" :)

If you have a lot of hair or longish hair, these blow dryers are on the useless side. I have mid length, fairly thick hair and they do not work well enough. I bring my own. User beware.

Yes, all of us always bring ship's cabin card & driver's license to the ports.
But if we need to fly home, or to next port to catch ship, would picture Passport on phone adequate in place of physical Passport booklet?
Uh--No.
