We were on the Anthem in March and while getting our free drinks in the casino (we are prime) the drinks were terrible watered down and mostly not worth drinking it seemed like the bar tenders treated the free prime members differently.

I'm sorry but what is a "Prime" member?  Thanks

  2. I appreciate you even asking. That is a sign of a very thoughtful person. BUT you would still be a chair(s) hog. I agree if your family wants a good spot and a good chair, they should be out there with you and remain to use them. If not, stand around with the rest of us that make the decision to take our chances.

And, if they don't?  Do you have anything constructive to suggest?

Have you ever tried to get long term care?? If you have and were lucky enough to get it, consider yourself blessed. It is NOT easy and it is very hard to find and qualify for it. So don't assume they didn't try.

It's all H2O....water.  Your body only needs those 2 things...hydrogen and oxygen, made into a liquid.  Your body doesn't care if it's from a "spring", a tap,  or a cactus....honestly.  It's all the same thing.  So is what the ship uses for your food, drinks and ice!  H2O

Gosh! I'm not asking for the WATER I'm asking for getting what I pay for. If I want another water brand than just Brand X (purified) vs Spring can I get it without paying extra for it. No reason to get in a tizzy.

My thought as a business model, it's cheaper to give you purified water rather than Evian or Pelligrino.  I just ask for premium water and I get whatever that is for the ship.  Most times it's been Evian, but if I just ask for bottled water, I get the purified water with my drink package.

So I don't have to accept just brand X bottled water? I can ask for Evian for example and get it as part of the Refreshment package?  I would assume that to change that they would have to be more specific to deny you a premium water brand.

    Hi All

I totally understand all your comments regarding this issue and I thank you for reading them and passing on your comments.

I booked the cruise via a travel agent and when I asked about an accessible cabin for my wife I received an email saying originally that it was the same price as a normal cabin

I asked the agent to reserve the accessible cabin but later that day I got another email saying that because I was not a US Citizen RCI could not offer me that cabin for the same rate as a normal cabin

If there is more to this story than simply wanting to charge a none US  disabled Citizen more money for an accessible cabin I wish RCI would tell me

I would pick up the phone and call Royal and ask them their policy in regards to this matter.  Find out if it is an American with Disabilities protection issue or a cabin category issue regardless of Nationality.  YOU must be your own advocate. Don't blame anyone or any country. Find out for yourself.

Just for future reference there is now insurance you can get that includes change of ports of call.  Also, you can include your before and after expenses and plans in your insurance quote.  If you get this type of insurance you could have still taken the cruise then gotten some money from the insurance company to ease the pain of change of ports.

Many people cruise and/or travel for special occasions so that isn't going to factor into Royal's response.

Do you have the name of this company?
