It's been a while since i have been to Aruba but will be there in a couple of months. I am looking for a full day or relaxation. Any suggestions?
The last time I was there, we went to the private island at the Renaissance.

We will also be on the Radiance for Panama Canal in Oct 2024. Booked this morning, We sailed Radiance in 2018 for Alaska, and the bow was a great location for the glacier viewings, It will also be a great location for viewing both sides of the canal at same time.
The last time we went through the locks we were on the bow from about 4 in the morning through the first sets of locks. It was amazing!!! Especially seeing all the ships lined up to go through.
From the first set of locks until Gutan Lake we were in the Schooner lounge watching the sites. Including several crocodiles on the side of the canal.
During the Gutan Lake "stop" we did the eco monkey tour walking through the jungle and by the time we were back the ship was going through the next lock, we were able to walk under the ship and that was amazing.

Park Cafe in the Solarium, at least as of last November

Radiance is my favorite ship and going through the canal was the absolute best cruise I have ever been on. As a matter of fact I am thinking about booking the 24 cruise through too.

Radiance is one of my favorite ships (sailed on it 7 times), as far as I know there is no afternoon tea.

I too have done both coasts of Mexico and I would have to say if you are looking for the different ports, the west coast is the best. If you are into the larger ships with more bells and whistles, then Allure should be your choice. I must also admit Cabo is one of my favorite ports.

any positives or negatives about Candlewood Suites? I will be traveling pre cruise on April 30th and want to make sure I can fill the day with something to do.

The worst thing about cruising solo is the solo supplement, only because I cannot do an inside cabin.

We will be returning from a cruise in Baltimore, and we are wondering approximately what a taxi to the airport will run us? Plus, how long is the drive.

We are booked in a ocean view cabin on a transatlantic this April. Once we arrive in Haifa, we are moving to a Jr Suite for a 6 day cruise. Will we have to pack our suitcases and put them out the night before like everyone who is departing the ship or will they simply pick up our suitcases from our cabin on the turn around day and take them to our next cabin?
Let your cabin attendant know early so he/she can help you get everything ready. Also make sure you keep all your valuables with you.

I'll be there with you, if they do!
You are more than welcomed to. Are you on the repositioning to Baltimore?

The class was listed in the daily activities on the Royal Caribbean app. I believe it was 35$ per person. Considering one of those cocktails would ring in at 14$ each, it was well worth the money.
DEFINITELY!!! During our sail away I will have to ask the bartenders when and if it will occur for us.!!!
-
how much was the class and how did you find out about it?
-
Hopefully they have the mixology class on our 10-day repositioning cruise, I will be the first to sign up!!!

This is great info. We are Elite on Celebrity so my understanding is we will be diamond on RC. I am thinking that we won’t need the drink package. What are other with more RC experience think?
I am diamond plus, and get 5 drinks per day, and I have never bought the drink package, it's tough for me to drink 5 drinks each day. Occasionally I will get the soft drink package for longer cruises, because soft drinks will count towards your vouchers, As well as fresh squeezed orange juice.

We are staying at the Candlewood Suites at the end of April and are looking for dinner suggestions for that evening. We will not have a car and would like something within walking distance. Not particular about cuisine but would like seafood.

Those were the same movies we had in November out of NOLA. Top Gun Maverick, Thor, Batman and Minions.

chances are the room you are assigned will be the room you get. On my last b2b both rooms were spot on.

I live close to airport area and yes, theyre working on expanding the I10 for airport traffic, so its always a cluster :/. If someone doesnt want to stay downtown close to port area, Metairie hotels are closer and easy I10 access.
I drive the Chicago area quite often and I think New Orleans (I-10) is worse.

I have done the complete transit (from Pacific to Caribbean side) and during the crossing we actually were able to walk under the Radiance of the Seas and it was incredible!!! Plus, the Volcano in Costa Rica was pretty awesome.
