OK here it goes, my first cruise was on Radiance of the Seas in 2004, and boy was it an adventure!! It was a birthday cruise for me, and the ship actually listed on my birthday in St Lucia. That was the first of 32 cruises and still going.
Starting the next post covid phase now with back-to-back Radiance cruises. This time with a new cruise partner too!!!

It docks at the Julia Street Terminal. All of the terminals at the Port of NO are all in a line right downtown; it would be really hard not to go to to the right place.
Thank you!!!

Where will Royal Caribbean port their ships in New Orleans?

The next one.

Is Julia St garage used by RCCL? or is there another parking garage?

Thanks for asking this question and thanks for the answers. It has been about 10 years since my last cruise. I am sailing my 33rd cruise in November. The D word and Covid cost me time cruising, but now retirement is getting me back into it.

what about NCAA games?
-
We are cruising Radiance of the Seas in November for 9 days and wanted to know if NCAA games and NFL games will be available in any of the bars?

we are sailing Radiance in November out of New Orleans

When are you going? We are looking at the same thing.

It has been 10 years since my last cruise with any company, but I would have to agree that RCCL's website is a mess. I can remember I used to be able to follow the prices of my cabin pre final payment, could look for final payment and find it easily, and make adjustments to my booking. Now i can't find any of that on there. Maybe it's just me but somehow I doubt that.

If you gamble on Royal cruises you’ll occasionally get offers for free cruises. In this case, I was given a free balcony cruise. Only cost me the port fees and taxes.
very co, I will have to look into thatol

We just booked a Casino Royale comped cruise out of New Orleans in December on Radiance. The last time I was there was during the Worlds Fair about 38 years ago so I’m sure it’s changed a lot. We booked Marriott French Quarter so we’re near the “touristy” places. Is N.O. decorated for Christmas? Is there a “must see” while we’re there?
what exactly is a Casino Royale comped cruise?

will be coming in thru Kenner.

Fill in the blue box with white lines. Earliest departure the month you sail or want to sail. The cruise line and ship. There should be a very small list of sailings. Find the one you are looking for.
thanks!!!

I know I cannot mention it but I will give you hints. Put the ending two words together that are at the end of these sentences. A ship sails in the sea. I have a scanner. Hope that helps.
not sure where to go once I get there though!!

Hello fellow Hoosier,
I can see why you are confused. You went over the state line into Illonois.
Just go to the Royal website as if you were booking a new cruise for the dates of your cruise.
It will show you the available cabins.
If you find an open cabin of the same category that you would like better, just call Royal or your travel agent and they will switch you at no charge.
Go Hoosiers
Thanks, but there was a website that listed every open cabin that was available.
I understand what youre saying about crossing that line too!!!

First off if this is the wrong place to ask this, I am sorry!!! Years ago, prior to Covid there was a website where a person could look and see what staterooms were available on different sailings. Mt question is, does that site still exist and if so where I can find it.
I remember that I could always check my cabin assignment and IF there was another like cabin available, I could possibly move.
Thanks in advance

FromIndy how did this go for you? We're heading there in May and are curious about the parking too.
Coming from Illinois in November, any ideas for a cruise and park?

What is the one thing that a newcomer can't miss on Radiance of the Seas?

We are going to be in New Orleans for a cruise on Radiance of the Seas and are looking for a hotel to stay in the night before our cruise. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also looking for a place to park the car for the entire trip, 9 days ( b2b) cruises

I didn't think she would qualify for Diamond Plus, because we do not live together, but wanted to check to be sure.
I really didn't want to start any disagreements.

I am Diamond Plus with over 200 points, my travel partner has never traveled with RCCL, and we are not married. Will she be Diamond Plus as well on this cruise ?
-
Merion Mom, I know it has to be fun if you have done it. I think we cruised together a couple of times many years ago (pre-covid). That definitely sounds fun.
Parking at port of New Orleans

We will be cruising in November.
Do we need to pay in advance for parking or do we pay as we leave the lot?
