I presumed the pressing was done by one of those giant machines, with rollers on both sides like a mangle, that press a sheet in about 1.5 seconds. Hangers or not, its not going to be great if that's how they do it.

Same, although I think you save a $4 activation fee buying in advance.

I had almost 20k in chips the first night on a cruise 3 weeks ago. I went to cash in and was told that I was only allowed to cash in what I put onto the tables and I could use the rest as credit during the week. After a little convincing on my part I got the cash with an understanding that any future winnings would be paid by check. What this did was make me basically stop playing for the week. I did not want a check for just this reason. Even if the check was made good in 5 minutes it is still something that a person should not ever have to worry about.
????????????
So you can win, but you cant take the winnings off the boat? Surely someone on board doesnt know their job.....that is the stupidest ruling I think I have ever heard in a casino.
If they dont carry enough $100 bills on board (20k is only two packs), surely they can do an electronic transfer to your bank if you agree.

Doesn't seem like anyone told the NCL printers or email team? Flyer about the old All Inclusive scheme arrived in the post this morning, and also by email just now.......no info at all on the new scheme.

Sorry, I wasn't aware of something being a "Haven and suite thing" except perhaps jealousy by some who aren't there.
You really think the Hotel Director/F&B Director etc is going to shake 4000 hands, or just the 50 in the Haven?
If you're not going to come across them,
They have very minimal effect on my cruising experience -
Thanks Blondie.
Which brings me onto the part two of the question.....whats the difference between Sailaway and Guarantee?
-
I think it's a Haven and Suite thing.......travelling cattle class you're not likely to come across many of the top brass very often.

Is Premium All Inclusive a perk? Or is it the minimum level of cruise fare?
-
Sailaway Balcony and Promotional rates and offers are excluded on this category (BX).
What exactly is excluded? I thought all the offers were gone now. Is all the Premium All Inclusive included?
Also what's the difference to a Balcony Guarantee?

Have they just loaded it onto the ticket price?

Here is an example since people don't get it. If you paid $4000 for your first cruise, that entire amount gets refunded and you have $2000 toward a future cruise.

Unless your cruise was say $3,500 and $500 in taxes etc, when your future cruise credit would be $1,750, and you would be refunded the full $4,000 on your first cruise.

Also remember the VPN route also has the 18% grats on the UBP to be added.

Presumably you booked before the All Inc for the UK market came in.....April or so from memory. What's the difference in cost between the two? Did you get the UBP promo with your booking? Have you tried asking NCL if they can change your package.......I suspect it is unlikely.
-
OOI, can you ask for sparkling water, rather than still?
-
I dont think its a promotion any more for UK bookings. Get confirmation from the TA in writing, so if it does go bandy, it's in his interest to sort it out, either on board or afterwards.

Translucent.

I had an email yesterday for our Sept 3 sailing on Jade, we're in a mini suite, and the costs were from £385 to upgrade to a suite, and £750 to a Haven suite.
Are those figures actual costs, or suggested minimum bids?
-
Thanks. And NCL UK, rather than Miami?
-
Presumably Keith its a direct NCL booking rather than a TA?
-
Short answer is you will not make the time.
Unless possibly you are in a suite, and the Concierge has a route to the front of the line.

Hi! I'm new to NCL, but I read that f you put your iPhones on airport mode you can still iMessage each other (obviously, only those in your group with iPhones). No charge! If anyone knows this to be false, please let me know.
I wouldnt have thought so. In airplane mode, both mobile data and wifi are turned off.
