  1. If anyone is curious about everything that is included in your cruise fare on Icon, I found this infographic on RC's website. icon_of_the_seas_whats_included_onboard_infographic.pdf
  2. Is that why August cruises are typically cheaper (kids back in school) or is it because of hurricane season?
  3. Wow. We didn’t experience any of this personally, but we did hear other passengers complaining. One lady said she requested a different room because kids were running and hanging out in the hallways all night, making noise.
  4. We were in the Solarium one afternoon, sitting in the water and sitting across from us were 3 young girls and I made the comment to my wife that there was no way they were 16. They were sitting quietly reading a book but clearly the staff doesn’t seem to enforce the age restriction. We did Coco beach club last year and besides the food, we enjoyed it. We couldn’t justify the cost of doing it again this year. What did you think about the food onboard?
  5. Was Oasis considered "expensive" when it first went on sale? Anyone remember?
  6. Didn’t have this issue. We watched a couple movies and the stream never shut down. We did have an issue a couple times where it wouldn’t accept the 4 digit code.
  7. We thought about changing our Icon sailing to another week but fares have gone up so much that we just couldn't do it. Same room category a week later is $8000 more.
  8. That’s exactly what my wife said. Thank you for reading. We loved Symphony. Early congrats on your anniversary!
  9. I definitely know what you mean about the hallways. One night we walked past of plate of pizza on the floor and it was still there the following morning. I was surprised. Also agree about kids. I understand it's a vacation for the parents too but it was bad. We were on the elevator with two ladies and one says "where's your daughter?", the friends response was "I don't know and I don't care. I'm not being a parent this week". What was your best dish & worst dish? Did anything surprise you?
  10. I am a fan of anything new so I jumped on it the day it went on sale, but there is a part of me that wonders if it'll live up to the hype. It looks like Wonder on steroids and I'm not sure if that's a good thing.
  11. We also love the Eastern itinerary, which is why I’m a little worried about our Icon sailing since we opted for the Western itinerary. We’re a little nervous about going to Mexico but I’m sure it’ll be fun. Our Orient beach excursion included unlimited rum punch so rum shots would’ve been overkill.
  12. I don't blame you. The Wonder still has that new ship smell on it so no need to pay the extra for Utopia. Plus, there doesn't seem to be much that's new about it. I was a little surprised they're doing these short itineraries for a new ship but I get it in terms of revenue. Disney is doing the same thing with their newest ship. My wife wants to move down to FL but, that's only because she wants to be closer to Disney. No thank you. I need to be able to watch the Eagles & Sixers at all times.
  13. Any plans to try Utopia? You just made me realize I forgot to mention El loco in my review. In terms of free food, I'd rank it behind Sorrento's.
  14. You hit the nail on the head. We were excited to board Wonder, it just didn't have the same "wow" feeling when we boarded because we've seen this before.
