  1. Hello again, ozzysdad! I promised you a review of R406 back in January, so here it is. We're half way through our holiday on Azura and about to set off from Malta to the Canaries. The cabin has been fantastic. The amount of space more than makes up for any shortcomings. The furniture, carpets and curtains are all in good order and possibly new from the last refit. The balcony furniture, however is looking a bit worse for wear. As for noise, there does tend to be a bit of stamping, scraping and rumbling from above in the mornings and evenings but nothing excessive. There was a bit of loud music filtering down from the lido on yesterday's sea day but I slept through most of it! Anil, our butler has been very good. Very quick to sort out any problems. Currently waiting for an engineer to come and fix the air-conditioning. There is a good WiFi connection in most of the cabin so the 'app' should work well. If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask. We're here for another 9 nights.
  2. On Azura now and can confirm that everything is open, although we've been told at reduced capacity. Glass House is only doing food in the evening and not lunch time. Not sure if this is normal. Have had no problems booking so far.
  3. We're flying out from Gatwick with TUI in 4 weeks time for our first fly cruise and I've been tracking our flight too. We're due in at 1755 but I've noticed it's often delayed. Yesterday it didn't touch down until 2030! It would be annoying to miss the first dinner but I'm sure they won't let us go hungry, even if it is just the buffet. Personally I'd prefer that to having to get up at stupid o'clock in the morning for an earlier flight.

    Flights

Going on Azura for my first fly cruise next month. I'm assuming that if we don't book our £17.50 seats they will be allocated at some point for free. Call me silly, but when I book a cruise that states flights included, I don't expect to have to pay another £70 for said flights.
  5. With Freetrade I used a screenshot of the "Market buy contract note" that I got when I bought the shares. Seemed to do the trick.
  6. OMG this actually made me cry! 🤣 Hope you don't mind but I've downloaded it and it's now my ringtone!
  7. Assuming this is N302, it's not showing on searches as it's sold out. Apply the sold out filter and should appear.
  8. No sign of extra OBC for my October Azura 16 nighter. However an extra £150 would take our OBC up to £620. Take that away from our total price and it would work out at £100 pppn in a B2 suite. At that price I would definitely have cause to think twice before complaining about standards!
  9. If you can get A107 or A108 you could have a party for 20. Their balconies are huge!
  10. Had complimentary bathrobes, champagne and chocolates in superior deluxe on Britannia at the end of April.

    Worried

Lol! It was a lunch time that prompted that comment about school dinners. I actually enjoyed the sausage and mash! To be fair the evening offerings we're much better, especially on the formal night.

    Worried

On board Britannia now. (and a little drunk, sorry!). I stressed far too much about the testing etc before boarding but it turned out to be very easy. Arrived at Southampton at 1230 and was onboard by 1300. Onboard the food in the MDR is perfectly edible but limited and more like school dinners. The buffet selection is the best I've seen on P&O in my limited experience, really did suprise me. 2 of our party went to the Glass House last night and had a really good meal. Black tie tonight and most seem to be joining in.
  13. Yes, just confirmed, @poorer 's information still applies today. Room steward is on his way with the iron in about 10min, but give yourself at least an hour to be sure.
  14. I'm on board at the moment and as far as I can tell they are not available, however I'm not 100% sure I think some, if not all, of the launderettes are towards the back of the ship and due to the isolation cabins this has become a difficult area to negotiate. As such we have been avoiding it! Black tie tonight though so I might have to go in search of an iron.
  15. Sorry for the slow reply. Full day in Rotterdam so we went ashore in search of some decent food! Just been to reception. They wouldn't give me an exact number of passengers but did say it was approx. 3000.
