I don’t think you plug a cpap machine into a euro plug without a converter. An adaptor won’t do it.  I could be wrong but I don’t think an cpap will automatically switch currents.  You could use an adaptor with a hair dryer that had 120/240 dual though without a converter.  And of course usb is universal.  Something for the world cruisers to look into.

An adapter works fine. I've done it many times.

Keep in mind, August is high cruise demand.  Thousands of folks will have the same idea as you.  At times, there have been very long lines just to get into SEATAC.  Also, if there is an accident on the fwy, or the ship arrives late, you can be in trouble.  I know you want to get back home fast, but take the next flight.  Better to arrive back home a few hours later than you would like, than to miss your flight, and then be super stressed about purchasing the last minute ticket.

Thanks. 11:45 am is the latest flight offered by Southwest for SEA-BDL. I bought refundable tickets so I can change or cancel if needed.

I'm always amazed that people will pay the upcharge for Johnny Rockets on Royal. It's not even like it's a unique dining experience or anything - there are Johnny Rockets all over the place on land.

I've heard that breakfast is complimentary on Johnny Rockets, but haven't verified that.

I believe it is refundable before final payment. I booked the September sale which was identical and when I look at my booking, it says $0 penalty if I cancel now which is before my final payment.

I saw the September sale too, but the difference is when I clicked "Terms & Conditions" for the September sale, it said "Refundable deposit...".  🤔

Hey there....we did this. Not due to a hurricane, but because we found a better cruise at a very appealing price. We had the Platinum plan so received a 90% FCC. Here's what happened:

We submitted our claim to AON as AON must deny the travel insurance claim before NCL will provide any benefit to you. We submitted the claim in late August, finally receiving our denial email in late February or March. UGH!! We received our FCC in 30 days from NCL.

When we received our FCC we could have used it to pay off a cruise fare for an already booked cruise if we had had one. Since we didn't, we selected a new cruise for this November. The FCC was good from the date of issuance (late March) through September, 2024.

    I hope that helps!

I received my denial letter from Aon in 3 days. That must be a record.

  6. My wife's passport will be expiring next year, which means we'll most likely need to travel on one cruise without her passport. It's a closed-loop US cruise.

I understand she'll need her official birth certificate. Because her last name has changed, I assume we'll need to bring a marriage certificate too. Because this is our second marriage, I imagine she'll need her first marriage certificate as well. Will she also need proof of divorce? Our marriage certificate is from a foreign country (Anguilla). Will that be an issue?

I may be making this more complicated than I need to, but my biggest fear is having a cruise agent refuse us at the embarkation port.

    Thanks all.

My husband said some cruiselines are heading south instead of going to Canada!!!

At least you had that option. I cancelled my 9/13 cruise because it was Quebec City to NYC. There really is no alternate route. I didn't want to be in rough seas most of the way. Good luck.
