  1. I see Princess advertising the Medallion Plus experience. If YOU have paid for this, was it worth it, and what did you received in return for what you paid, and how much was it?
  2. I am just the exception to the rule. I LIKE looking at the pictures, and as I said, I have MANY picture albums. Of course my sons would prefer I do it another way, but that is because that is THEIR way of looking at pictures, where mine is "opening up the picture album," and looking. Instead of me paying for their drink package, etc. which I would probably not use that much, I would prefer paying the higher price in pictures, but that is ME.
  3. I appreciate more of this information coming in regard to my question. It doesn't sound like getting the printed ones are very cheap anymore. I probably take MORE pictures than anyone else in this world, but they ARE my memories!!
  4. Yes, I miss the ball park prices too, and as mentioned, my son had me do the hard drive, or whatever it is called and I took it to Walgreens and was able to print out ALL the pictures I wanted. I am different from everyone else. I probably have over 80 some picture albums, going back over 61 years ago when my husband and I got married. I just like to OPEN the picture album and take my time looking at the pictures. 🙂
  5. Thank you to the last poster showing me of what Princess has to offer.
  6. I know many people hook-up with their cell phones with what is going on in the ship, but for me, I STILL enjoying looking at the Patter (paper) that tells everything is going on, and this way if there is something I want to do, I just mark it with a big X, and that way I already know ahead of time what my agenda may possibly be.
  7. Thank you for both of your postings to my question. Travelin.Sisters I gather what you were posting about March was for this year and not year, is that correct? Do you know how soon after a person books, that we are able to find out about their specials?
  8. I appreciated being able to see the video that was posted here.
  9. I know Covid and etc. have made changes with companies in many ways. I am very old fashion in some ways, and I prefer having the photos, instead of the small disk, or whatever you call it. Does Princess still offer anything like this? We will probably be cruising in February of next year and how soon ahead of time, if they do, will I know?
  10. Appreciate your continued postings for my question.
  11. Thank you "everyone" for your postings to me on my question. As for which end, it really didn't make any difference, but after reading your postings, I think it "might" make a difference. 🙂
  12. I'm glad I read this. We have always eaten in the MDR, but now it looks like we will have to "request" that we have the same table and time, if at all possible.
  13. I will be looking forward to reading your review on the Regal, as at this moment, I think the 8 of us will be doing it in February next year.
  14. I was so glad to see/read that people STILL do dress up to the 9's for what I call formal nights. I think they call them something else now, but that is MY expression, as I don't get to do that very often, other than when going to church, but don't dress up to the 9's then. 🙂
  15. At this time, I am in the "thinking" mode of booking this cruise for 8 of us in February, and I'm enjoying your review, along with the pictures as well.
  16. I'm thinking of the getting 4 balcony rooms on the Princess Regal. If you have had a balcony room on the "end" of the ship, what were your pros/cons of this room. The reason I ask, normally my room is around the middle of the ship, but I have had a balcony room on the end (yes I know there is walking to the center of the ship, etc.), and there were steps either going up/down to the next deck, which made it convenient at times.
  17. Jamman54, I agree. Mini golf conditions on the ship are not always the best, but at least I am able to play golf there, and sometimes the course has a few "challenges" on it. 🙂
  18. Someone mentioned mini golf, which I love to do as well. It isn't always the case, but if it is on the cruise ship, even though I may be at the TOP of the ship and about ready to blow away, I love mini golf. 🙂
  19. I appreciate your warning, but I am the oldest of the other 7. I just like to PROVE to my sons that "I" can outdo them sometimes. 🙂
  20. Thanks for letting me know bout the walking distance from the ship. That still really doesn't sound to bad to me, so we'll see. 🙂
  21. When you are talking about "walking," I am 80 years old, but I still can outdo younger people when walking. So if you would be talking about walking, if it was in city blocks, would it be a mile, two or three miles, etc.?
  22. I'm STILL enjoying receiving these suggestions.
  23. I do quite a bit of posting on FB of my pictures of family and places I am BLESSED to travel to. I've had more than one time people tell me they are "living" through my pictures. I say the same thing for you and wife. I'm sure I will not get to the areas there that you just posted of Disney, etc., but I am living through you and Patti as well by your pictures and reviews.
  24. Thank you for the continued answers that are coming in, as they are really helping in making our decisions for February next year.
