  1. Carnival only allows smoking while actively gambling in the smoking casino, can no longer sit at the bar and smoke. Infact some bars were removed from casinos I don't remember which class ships that was. Dream class ships have a no smoking casino on deck 4 but have no craps table.
  2. Security will direct you to a table or area when you return to the ship and that person takes your liquor and your cabin number and you can pick it up at 6am on disembarkation day or it will be delivered to your cabin the night before. I believe on 5 day cruises you will need to pick up.
  3. Thanks, $10 craps can get pricey really quick if someone can't throw the dice consistently good.
  4. Just curious about minimum bets on other carnival ships. My last several cruises were on the Dream which had $10 minimum bet, and was told by casino staff that the Dream was the only ship at $10 minimum, with all others at $5. Just want to know how much money to bring on our Vista cruise later this month.
  5. I guess we are doing more on the cheap, we bring $200 to go with the $ 200 OBC for a 6-7 day cruise, and on average come home with $1000 to $800 more than I brought on board. I don't get off the ship because of mobility issues, I have a phobia of having my photo taken, and I don't use wifi at home so why buy it on the ship. Our philosophy is several thrifty vacations instead of one big blow out. But everyone is different and I respect them for their choices as long as they respect mine.
  6. We have an all inclusive week in Playa del Carmen in May and I am planning on probably not being able to swim in the Caribbean. It is not very fun to walk through and wade through, and stinks to high heaven shortly after washing up on beach.
  7. I understand that but have the laws changed, I'm sorry but I never had children and know from a legal standpoint(retired law enforcement) that a person is considered an adult at 18 and responsible for their own actions. At least in the state of Texas anyway.
  8. I'm sorry but could someone explain to me why 19 year Olds need adult guardians? When I was 19 I had been out of the house and married for 2 years and completely self sufficient. Are kids that sheltered and not raised to be independent by 18 like my generation? But the drinking age was 18 back then.
  9. We were on the Dream in September and I was very disappointed that all the table games have increased from $5 to $10 minimum. Good news is the craps table is less crowded, bad you need twice the bank roll. If your lucky slots can support your craps habit. LOL.
  10. Minimal bet on table games on the Dream in September was $10. It was hard to when not winning, but great when several of us were hitting the small, tall, and all.
  11. I looked up my downloaded menu from the Breeze in May and (Share a Caribbean Cocktail in a larger-than-life Souvenir Fish Bowl with reusable straws you can take home! $36.95 Refills only $21.95 ) But of course because of supply chain issues they were out of the Souvenir Fish bowls, and only had a dozen or so non Souvenir Fish bowls which they were always out of during happy hour.
  12. If you open the cabinet door to allow better air flow around the it fridge will cool better, it can't disapate the heat locked in a box with no air flow.
  13. if you're an AARP member you can purchase gift cards with a 10% discount. We pay all our deposits, final payments, and on-board expenses with discounted cards. In this economy every little bit helps.
  14. The only thing I can remember on the old menu that is not on the current menu is bacon mac & cheese.
  15. I have my bubba mug(snippy cup) with me most of the time, even in the pool and it no one business what is in it. If someone asks I am completely honest about my allergie to opioid and this is my pain meds. Freedom is not forcing your opinions on everyone else.
