I'm shocked with Oceania after watching this, what on earth has happened?
Although we booked an Explora 1 Cruise after watching said Bloggers and did not like it at all. Yes the ship is fab but the found the food extremely disappointing neither of us had one meal that enjoyed. Would not do another.
Azamara wins hands down for us.
Thank you for your thoughts. I did email Azamara but needless to say no reply. I do hope they are not charging for medical attention and you all get some form of compensation for spoilt holiday.

I did feel it was a far fetched excuse and wonder why if it has been going on since January the ship has taken more action. Not looking forward to boarding on Saturday
Personally still feel uncomfortable with this.
Our TA contacted Azamara on our behalf and was told there had been some cases but have been exaggerated on platforms and most likely caused from eating off ship so advise not do so. There were not enough cases to report to authorities.
Do you advise buying some bottled water in Gran Canaria to take on board?
Normally have ice in G&T's etc so thinking not a good idea?
Not paranoid but as only on for a week do not want to be poorly. Never had any issues before on any cruise Azamara or others.

Have just noticed our cruise has been reduced in the current sail and wonder if worth contacting them.
We are supposed to be sailing on Opal for Christmas/New Year 20th December. Amsterdam to Budapest.
