This is my first time attempting a bid upgrade for an Eastern Caribbean sailing out of FLL on Dec 10. Balked at the $285/pp cost quoted by the agent to go from an Inside to a Oceanview. I bid the minimum $30/pp for an obstructed OV and got notice one month before sailing that it was accepted! Saved us $510--very happy!

The same thing happened to me for my cruise leaving this Sunday-my other bids "expired" and the pending one ended up being approved later that day! I was also not able to modify or anything and it charged my card later that afternoon and I got the approval email!

My Move-Up offer was accepted to AQ (A2) for $65pp!

I am booked on a blue chip comped cruise for next month and I was able to submit a Moveup request today, not sure if it will be accepted....but I am in the running!
