There is a dinner show (Ship Show, Last Rose) that has a fee, but the fee includes the alcohol.

We weren't charged for It's A Ship Show but we did have to pay for drinks a la carte. Another Rose was $50 and included a selection of cocktails and bottomless bubbles. Curious if Ship Show either has or will go the way of Another Rose.

  2. You've already "earned" Deep Blue with your status match, you will get them on any sailing until the end of the year and if the trend continues and Deep Blue is extended for like the 3rd or 4th time you might just get them in January too!

  3. We did this, met tour guide after getting of ship and took us to the ferry. Upon arriving at Delos it was chaos but eventually made it in to the ruins and followed our guide. Overall was an underwhelming experience. One of the ferry's was out of service so the trip there and back was unpleasant to say the least. Our tour guide was OK but the island was overwhelmed with people. Cool history but definitely would not repeat.

  4. The crazy cobb is gone (the wife's favorite).

I suspect the pork dish you were referring to was the Razzle pasta, stopped bow ties in a pork broth which was my personal favorite.

The secret steak was replaced with a secret burger on Resilient. I thought it was quite good and certainly better than the standard burger at the Galley.

OK, I've never re-typed the info.  I've just ticked the box that says I'll be responsible for both of us.  Is that what you mean by "covering?"  It has always worked for us, both on bar tab and on loot.  It also hasn't mattered who the DBE was assigned to--we both qualified, but on the first two cruises, the benefits were only listed for one. Interestingly, for our upcoming cruise, we are both listed as having DBE.  I know that all the benefits are "per cabin."

Yes, that's what I meant by covering.

  6. I was surprised that Resilient does not have the flags in the Galley but we never waited any amount of time to have our order taken. Not sure how or why it seems they don't need the prompt on that ship.

Regarding the burgers, we've found that the special burger of the day is always leaps and bounds better than the everyday burger. I think the specials are always made to order and the regular ones they make in advance. In particular, the "oink oink" is a favorite and there was one on a yellow bun that I'm forgetting the name of that was incredible!

Sadly the butter chicken is gone from Razzle Dazzle on Resilient, however it was replaced with a fantastic burger. Two smash patties with blue cheese and gravy, highly recommend!

  7. There is a difference between adding the same credit card to multiple people versus "covering" someone else's expenses. I found out the hard way but thankfully it was an easy fix, just dropped by sailor services and they linked my wife to my account on our first sailing.

When we check-in the app now I only put a credit card on for me and then select my wife someone I'm paying for. Then when she goes to do her check in it doesn't ask for a credit card at all.

  8. Sun Club Cafe on 16 is all outside seating as well. The wedge salad and the pasta, meatballs on the room service menu is the same items from the The Wake / Extra Virgin. The Pizza Place has a nice outdoor seating area and you can bring food from other places there.

Just bought the points to book on to Greek Island Glow for July from Virgin Red, total cost £1185 which is amazing, so excited!

As others have said Virgin Voyages is way above rivals in my opinion for the onboard experience. It's so appealing to have drinks, WiFi and tips included and the food is high quality and varied. The cabins are amazing and comfortable with tech which we love.

All I would improve is the pool, wish it was bigger or more than one and their customer service off the ship can be hit and miss. The staff on it seem happy and chilled though which must say something..

They listened, the pool on Resilient is larger. They reduced the shallow area on the forward side so the overall foot print is the same on deck but the pool itself is probably close to 50% larger. It's still not big enough, but so glad they did something!
