Has anyone managed to add extra dinning after adding this plus to their booking? I have been unsuccessful. 9 day cruise so with free and sea and plus only have 3 specialty dinings and wanted to add a couple more but is seems impossible to do. I would have thought ncl wanted my $$$…..

Hi you mention using the fasup and also specialty dining every night. What code was your specialty dining upgrade? I have added fasup to an upcoming g cruise but now can’t get the extra dining nights I want as they say they can’t also add that on….

It was $630 CAD per person, so $1261.60 for a couple, to add to a 10 day cruise for me in CAD. has anyone tried or been successful to add the extra meals on top of this? I mentioned it about a week ago and have not heard if anyone was able to do it, if so what code did they use? I tried to add a 4 meal package and they could not get the system to accept it in combo with this.

I prebought the card and activated it when boarding the bus upon leaving the ship. It was then good for 5 days from that time.

I’m hoping it’s just an IT issue on their end given this soft launch, as I can’t imagine they want to discourage people from buying extra add on meals?? this is what happens if you try to add it on after you put in credit card:

I’m reconsidering this now if I can’t add the extra meals. If it comes down to better drinks or better food my husband and I are going to pick the food. When I added the Plus it did not occur to me that would prevent me from being able to buy the extra specialty dinning for our other nights. Hopefully they fix their system so we can have this package AND buy additional specialty dining.

Yes it lets me add to shopping cart but then won’t go through when trying to apply payment. Tried that a few times and then called them and she tried a few different ways then advised it would not allow it.

Interesting glitch with this program - just spent a half hour on the telephone with a seemingly very competent NCL rep. We have a 10 day cruise booked. It came with 1 meal for the base free at sea and an additional 2 from the plus package. I wanted to add some additional meals, but the system does not allow more than the two packages related to dining. so that means if we want more than 3 nights of specialty dining we have to cancel the Plus program. Hmmm. Anyone else have this come up?

I am curious, what is the ‘A’ list bar? I was recently in the getaway and am planning a trip on the breakaway and had trouble on my last one finding the best spot for a good quality drink.

I was able to add this to my reservation today by calling them. in terms of the math, if you are planning to upgrade your drink package anyway (there are many separate threads on that) then the bump for this is only about $15pp per day which is easily covered off by excursions if you plan on those, the dinners and wifi. For me it works out to an $800 Canadian dollar savings, however that is for a Port intensive trip with only 1 sea day, and I had been planning to do the ncl excursions and wifi anyway.
