14 days to get your money back so you don't have the money to book something else.......nice
I cancelled something recently and my money was refunded in two days.

Yes there should be. Are you doing the bus first? If so - there will be several from your ship on your tour. Whenever I have booked with them - I have walked off the ship and down the pier to where the tour guides are.
I would email them and tell them what ship you are on and that you want to do the 7:30 tour. They will tell you if it is a go or not. Everyone on my tour came from my ship.
I was thinking about booking the train first at 730 am. Their website said we will be fine..but wondered if anyone has done the 730 route.

I would do Chilkoot as you get a large van as opposed to a bus. Less people getting off and on wasting time.
The cruise lines (and Chilkoot) have dedicated cars. So if you are with the cruise line, as one car fills up, people go to the next car, etc... Chilkoot will have a car for the people on their tour. So it doesn't matter who you book with as far as train.
I would do an all day tour. I would probably do this one: https://chilkootcharters.com/yukon-rail-bus/
or this one: https://chilkootcharters.com/bennett-scenic-journey/
Most ships are in Skagway all day so you have time to see Skagway after.
Thanks for the info on this thread. Curious if the ship docks at 7am, is there enough time to make the 730 excursion with Chilkoot? Thanks !

On our last 2 sailings, DW and I purchased a package, that I believe they called “Chops +1”
For roughly $100/person we dined at Chops one evening and Giovanni's another. For our upcoming cruise (Jewel) they don’t have it or I just can’t find it on the planner.
Anyone hear of this one or is my senility working overtime. Did they cease that offering?
Eddie
i have 3 sailings booked and cant find it anymore either

If you are in Sky Class the suite concierge can make reservations for you after they e-mail you (usually 6-8 days out). If you are in a JS, you have to wait until you board and it will depend upon availability.
Is it available for reservations only for dinner if you have a junior suite? Thanks

The Covid booster vaccine (and Flu vaccine too) is still a good strategy. Many people are ignoring the vaccine booster. But get it a few weeks before the cruise IMO. It might help you get only a mild case of Covid if exposed on a cruise.
My husband and i just returned from Radiance. Both tested positive two days post cruise. (we were fine when we boarded ) I was boosted with the vaccine 3 weeks before the cruise. Our cases are mild. I truly believe the vaccine helped keep it this way.

Most reporting suggests comped cruises do award C&A points.
I can attest to the fact you do get points on comped cruises.

Excursions and lunch options are at reduced prices. Don't know what you are looking for.
Specifically looking for the dining plus one, but the "sale" price has been the same for months.

Per usual, getting emails that say the black friday sales are on now. No difference in what i am looking for. Can anyone tell me will the sales get better on the actual black friday? I dont recall in the past.
Thanks !

Ok so I went into my cruise planner for a couple of my future cruises and lo and behold I find the same thing... except the price is listed as 28.99 which, if memory serves me correctly, is a great price. I went ahead and booked it. Thanks for the heads up 🙂
I'm sure this is just a reading comprehension problem on my part so could you help me understand your problem. If I look at what you posted above it appears you are getting the discounted price of 28.99 for the Teppanyaki. Where is this $50.99 that concerns you? Ignore any prices in the menu if that is the $50.99 you are seeing and what concerns you. That is an onboard price if dining at the Hibachi without prepaying it.
Once you book and pay for it pre-cruise there is no additional charge. If booked on board as part of 3NDP or UDP then there is an addition $10 charge for a second protein choice.
You booked Hibachi, not Teppenyaki. I think Hibachi is cheaper....mine should have been higher i think

We are leaving on Odyssey for 6 nights Saturday, and last week there were tails on the dinner menu one night. I looked today, and they are gone off the menu, but there is an option to purchase a main tail.

I think you are confusing the hibachi and Izumi. In my experience pre booking the Izumi sushi restaurant is about $28 while the hibachi is usually around $45-50. It can seem confusing at times.
Nope...it was teppan. and for dinner :
Teppanyaki Guests Susan, Richard Day Day 3 - Cruising Time 07:30 PM $57.98 Order summary Subtotal $57.98 Gratuities $10.42 Order total $68.40 - 2

We are on Odyysey Saturday and i got an email for last chance to book at sale prices. When i go to reserve via the email, it comes up 28.99 per person for dinner with dinner times. If i go try to reserve just going to the website, it comes up 50.99 per person. When you click on menu it gives prices. I am confused. If i pay the 28.99 per person for dinner, we shouldn't have to pay more correct? I know there are appetizers you pay for.......but this price looks more like a lunch price but it's giving me dinner times. Confused

We have used Park N Go multiple times without one issue. Didnt have to wait one minute after the cruise..out there ready and waiting. Much cheaper than the port too.

I have both donated, and won alot. One time my husband went to the cabin to use the restroom, so i put 40 dollars in a video poker and hit a royal flush ! Met him in the room with 4K cash ! He locked it in the safe and changed the combination 😞 We were on Allure recently and had decent luck in the casino.

We board a week from tomorrow and haven't heard from the concierge yet. We are booked in a GS. Have any of you had experience if this ship emails you ahead of time ?
Thanks.
Luggage

I want to just carry on my medium size suitcase at Port Canaveral. Does anyone recall if the scanners are big enough to support a medium size suitcase? The docs say they are "similar" to airport security, and I think it will fit, but I don't recall the machines at PC. Has anyone recently carried their luggage through check in at PC ?
Thanks,
Sue
