  1. I just returned from Enchantment cruise today, and I hadn't cruised since 8/16. I had a letter in my stateroom stating I was prime. Went to casino and they put a sticker on my card for drinks. There was a certificate on my door this morning for 500 off a cruise which must be booked within 30 days and sail before one year.

  2. When I do a cash account, I also tend to go to guest services to "cash out " any balance a good day before the cruise is over to avoid lines. I always secure my seapass with a credit card , then add the cash on day one. That way when I cash out before the big lines....the credit card is there in case I have any last day charges.

It has always worked well for me that way..and I avoid the long lines on the last day.

  3. Just got back from a 3 day cruise on Enchantment. The ship is definitely in need of a refurbish, but it was very clean and tidy everywhere. Staff everywhere were very friendly.

We never ate in the dining room, but we did have dining room service in our cabin one night and it was great. We did eat at Chops two nights and we found the food not to be as good as I remember in previous cruises. There was a definite lack of wait staff. On one of the nights, our sides were not even warm when served. The waitress did replace them no problem at all.

We also found that getting a drink anywhere on the ship was a challenge. The lines at the bars were always 4 deep , even in the casino bar. Never saw one wait staff by the pool taking drink orders. Previous cruises they were everywhere. Not sure what is up with that. You would think on a " 3 day get away cruise" they would be pushing the drinks big time.

We got a great deal on an owners suite and our attendant was awesome. We had cabin 8022 , and I would not recommend this cabin to anyone as it is below the windjammer, and the noise from the carts rolling on the floor above us began at 0430 and didn't stop all day. Came home pretty exhausted from this cruise !

Don't get me wrong, any cruise is a good cruise, but I just found some of the "normal " service you expect from RCI lacking on this trip.

Curious if RCI have cut back on wait staff fleet wide?

  4. A friend of mine is cruising on Dream this Friday. They are first time cruisers. I am not familiar with Disney cruises and they were wondering what dining options are available when you first board.

    Any information is appreciated.

    Thanks :)

  5. We were in JS on the Navigator in December and had a rock hard mattress. Absolutely no give to it. It was like sleeping on a piece of wood. There is firm and then there is unyielding. Totally unnecessary choice. Someone in purchasing made a bad call.

I completely agree ! There is a difference between firm and HARD. I hurt so bad and slept so poorly after my last cruise I was run down seriously when we got home. Never had that happen before and I cruise a lot.

  6. I received my answer today also from special needs.

Not quite as promising as the above replies.. Nothing about the promise of a topper.

    Good Day.

Thank you for contacting us. Your reservation has been noted and the ship will be advised.

    Best Regards,

    Access Staff Diana

We are just off IOS. The mattress in the JS was terrible. We complained and they brought a "new" mattress with an egg crate. It was terrible as well. RCI needs to address this . We slept horrible the entire cruise.
