  1. I thank everyone for their replies and one final dining question. As a marathon runner and watching every calorie, which dining venue(s) provides the most health conscious dining options ? THANKS !
  2. Hello- I have never sailed Virgin Voyages and inquiring about dining options on the Scarlet Lady. Which dining options are offered on her, which dining options are recommended and how does one book a reservation? Additionally, can a passenger just show-up at a dining option and just wait for an opening? Also, which times are recommended for the dining options on the five day Caribbean cruises leaving on October? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
  3. Greetings - Correct, Walgreens now charges for a COVID test if the patient has NO COVID symptoms. If the patient has ANY possible COVID symptom's such as a headache cough, etc. then the COVID test is covered by your major medical insurance.
  4. Greetings poohdreaming - There are MULTIPLE service providers that can provide shuttle service from Port Canaveral to MCO dependent upon your budget. If I may suggest. DON'T book a hotel near MCO ( Orlando) but rather a hotel in Cocoa Beach which is only 5 minutes from the Port. As phissy suggested, also try GOPORT Good Luck
  5. Honestly no. In my humble opinion, if a parent is compelled to mask their infant, probably the infant should stay home and not go on the cruise.
  6. I thank everyone for their reply and although I am glad to hear that more are enjoying cruising, I definitely plan on employing all universal COVID safety precautions as the passenger count has increased to almost pre-covid levels. Correct me if I am wrong, but I have read that currently Seashore is at 80% pre-covid capacity and Divina is at 65%. Thanks
  7. Hello - In two weeks, my family and I will be doing a back-to-back cruise on both the Divina and then the Seashore. I am inquiring from any "recent" cruisers, how many passengers have been on each ship and how are the current mask mandates / health concerns dealt with on each ship. Any feedback from recent passengers sincerely appreciated. Thanks
  8. Hello and thanks for your remark. Not certain why you would refer to using the MSC ATM kiosk a pain in the ass? In my humble opinion, after sailing on MSC eight separate times, using the onboard MSC ATM kiosk to attach your credit card for onboard charges is a great idea and you will find it very easy to use. Very similar to using your ATM card at an ATM terminal. Good Luck and enjoy your next cruise.
  9. Things are about the same. Traffic will be lite ( by Miami standards ) and Uber and Taxi service will be sufficient to immediately transport you to FLL. Good Luck
  10. Hello - In reality the ship arrives back at Port Miami at about 500am and docks at about 600am where luggage is removed and food is reloaded onto the ship. At about 700am work is started to disembark passengers. OBVIOULSY you will require self-check out and you "should" be off the ship by 815am and at FLL by 930am and in time for your flight. Good Luck
  11. Thanks- I will order for next cruise in two months, but for tomorrows cruise, Walgreens worked fine. Thanks
  12. Thanks for your information- If I purchase a two pack test-kit from E-MED, can two different travelers use the same test kit ? Thanks
  13. Hello - As of today, MSC still requires a negative COVID test within 48 hours ( two days ) before cruising. What I did, which worked for my family on todays date is to book a COVID test with Walgreens as they offer rapid COVID testing for $129. I can't tell you what is best for your family, but if during the Walgreens appointment booking feature you indicate that you """ARE NOT""" using traveling as a reason for the COVID test and indicate that your COVID test is being done because you have a cough, a headache, possibly been exposed to someone with possible COVID ETC., the test is free. Also, there are many Walgreens near the port and you can book an appointment up to seven days out. I can't speak for CVS. Also, there are home service agencies that charge about $30 to verify the test online. Good Luck
  14. I ""believe''" there are no exceptions to the vaccine requirements as the sailing restrictions are imposed by CDC and not by the individual cruise lines. Obviously the cruise lines should provide this information and If I may ask and not to ask you anything personal, why can't you medically get the COVID vaccine ? I'd be very interested to understand. Thanks
