  1. Yes, thank you 'Cruise Wonderland'. Where did you find that link anyway; we've looked everywhere for this kind of reference. We realize shows are not locked in granite, due to changing situations, but as a general expectation might help in booking decisions. Would be nice if there was some similar catalogue for the major cruise lines et. al. But the link you provided is what we were looking for [without knowing it existed, ha]. Thanks again.
  2. We've never found a good, updated, reference on how to check the entertainment shows on any given ship or cruise. Does anyone know of some sort of reference for this? We usually do Royal Caribbean, but a reference to what any of the cruise ships offer would be nice. Something not sporadic like Royal Blog. Thanks in advance. For example, we're going on Symphony in October, and were trying to find out what shows we might expect. I had always heard of something called HairSpray...and we found something on Youtube called FLIGHT. But nothing definitive...we're left 'assuming' things. So a REFERENCE or Listing depicting exactly what shows to expect...we've never found anything like that [except for mentions here and there, like here on Cruise Critic]. And absolutely nothing on ice shows or aqua shows. We're always pleasantly surprised of course.
  3. Just affirming what kccrzr said here. We also went on the voyager out of Copenhagen and agree, if port intensive, ship amenities not as important. But Voyager had been 'amped' up [I think what they called it]...updated I think in 2019 or so? We just came off the sister ship Mariner just before labor day, and we thought the Voyager was actually the better ship [both excellent]. One thing, the Voyager had better interactive tv to follow one's account. The Mariner did not and was a bit limited [no movies or anything]. Compared to a mega ship [which we also like a lot], we missed things like the Aqua shows and broadway level musicals. But production shows on both Voyager and Mariner were good too. Oh...and wifi on the Voyager was horrible for us [nothing from our stateroom]. Mariner wifi was better [but we were in the Caribbean again however]. We do the mega ships and the cruise is more about the ship, I have to admit. On smaller ships [Voyager class not a small, but more a medium size]...we look for more or better ports [like the Baltic cruise was excellent]. One more thing, Mariner was full capacity and it was very crowded to us. The mega ships seem to handle crowds better even if more people onboard. Just our sense of it.
  4. Ya know, the OP question does bring up a good point. We've made plans in certain ports and found when we arrived, our dock was in a wholly different place than expected, sometimes miles away, causing us to cancel things. We haven't found a good source of information on the actual dock on any given itinerary. Good info on the ports themselves perhaps, but not the docks where any given ship might port. Anyone know of a good source for this info, or where to look for a given booking?
  5. Ok, gave this a good effort to see if any previous comments...but didn't find any. Soooo... We're going on a mega ship in October 22, and we're wondering if our diamond voucher drinks apply to the bionic arm drink mixer? We've never even used that bionic arm, but might be something interesting to do. Thanx in advance for any info on this. It's sept 8 today [2022].
