  1. @infoseeking@johnjen Agreed. I’m going to try not to stress about this, but easier said than done as I’m a nervous sort of person lol! I feel better knowing that we are think the same way. I will try to remember to come back on here to let you all know. We leave this Sunday.
  2. Any response yet on this? It would be great if they could add it. there are no Walgreens in New York but there are some in New Jersey. There are CVS in New York and they do have appointments available tomorrow but if their results don’t have the CLIA number, then I don’t think it would be helpful to get retested there.
  3. Yes a few people have mentioned that they used Rapid Test and Trace and it was good. I have two friends that went to CVS this morning. They took the test and got their negative results. Their test results does not have a CLIA number and I know that RC have been accepting CVS results. Our boarding time is at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. I guess the worst case scenario would be to go to their testing site to retest if they don't accept this or I might just try to find a Walgreens and book us to retest at Walgreens in New York. We fly out today. This is just so stressful.
  4. Ugh I did not know that about the CLIA Lab number. Now I'm getting stressed out. I just checked and all other pertinent information is on the company letterhead with address of the company. I hope our agent is not picky either. There are six of us that took the test.
  5. My family (4 of us) just used Rapid Test and Trace this morning to do our COVID test. Very efficient and quick. We are boarding on Sunday, June 5th. The email results in PDF has everything on there so I am confident this will be good. If I remember, I will come back on here to let you know how boarding went. I did chat with another person although through the Facebook group that said she used this service and had no problems boarding Royal Caribbean cruise with it. The company was very professional and I kept getting reminder emails for my test. I got a reminder two days before, one day before and then at 6:30 a.m. this morning. My test was at 7:00 a.m.
  6. My family and I are scheduled to take the Rapid Test and Trace test on line next Friday, June 3rd at 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 and 8:15 a.m. As a backup, I just scheduled the Walgreens COVID drive thru testing for the four of us for next Friday, June 3rd. Once the time slot was selected for one person, that time slot was taken. When booking for the next person, I had to use the next time slot. Therefore, I had to schedule the four of us at different times: 9:30, 9:45, 10:00 and 10:15 a.m. All four of us will be going through the drive through in one car at 9:30. I'm pretty sure they will be able to do all four at 9:30 a.m. I am hoping that all goes well with the proctoring service with Rapid Test and Trace. If it does and we all get our email results, I will cancel the Walgreens test.
  7. Our flight out of Cape Liberty, New Jersey is at 1:30 p.m. If there was an earlier flight like at 11:00, I would have taken it, but there were none. Most often when we have cruised in the past, we were cruising out of Fort Lauderdale or Miami. In those instances, we have catched flights at 9:00 a.m. with no problems at all. We grab a quick bite and are one of the first ones off the ships with our luggage at 7:00 a.m. We make it to the airport in plenty of time. However, those were pre-COVID days and on a Saturday or Sunday. This time, our ship gets back on a Friday with Friday traffic, etc. There are lots of things to consider when taking a flight home. Another consideration is that we are mostly flying Southwest. If it looks like we're not going to make our flight, I quickly rebook Southwest and not loose any money.
  8. Thank you everyone! I did not realize the MDR is open on the last day. I guess we normally just hit the Windjammer so that we can be out of there quick. It sounds like both Windjammer and the MDR is open at 6:00 a.m. There are 10 of us and I'm trying to book transportation to the airport. This will help figure out what time we can book the transportation. Does anyone know if Royal does a shuttle from Cape Liberty port in New Jersey to LaGuardia airport?
  9. On the last day of our cruise, we'd like to carry luggage off the ship ourselves. We want to eat breakfast before leaving. Does anyone know what is the earliest time for breakfast in the Windjammer? I'm pretty sure the dining room is not open for breakfast on the last day. Thanks.
  10. I bought the proctor service from Rapid Test & Trace for our June 3rd testing. I will let you all know once it's been done and hopefully accepted by Royal. I will also schedule Walgreens testing on June 3rd at 9:30 a.m. as a backup, just in case. Our flight to New Jersey is at 1:30 p.m. and we need to leave for our flight around 10:30.
  11. Have anyone used this proctor service for taking their COVID test for their cruise? From what I can see, you can use any FDA approved rapid test for your online session. You will receive test results via email in 30 minutes. My plan is to use the free tests I received from the government and pay for the proctor service through this company. It is $20 per proctor test. https://rapidtestandtrace.com/product/observed-test-for-travel/?fbclid=IwAR0bo0mxML7Ysl5JvPAUjC-LH9bqLpWNXTwyBqZQUgrypgqA31PoPAT5iSs Thanks.
  12. Hi. We are considering going on Brilliance of the Seas in May 15, 2023. We will be getting on in Rome, going to Salerno and Messina, Santorini, Turkey, Mykonos and getting off at Athens. We've done the Mediterranean before on Oasis of the Seas in June. The weather was extremely warm in early June of 2019. Was that a fluke? What will the weather be like in mid May? Any advice or thoughts? Thank you in advance.
