  1. The best meal i had on the Jewel in May was in the MDR where I ordered the two lobster tails for a $25 upcharge.
  2. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. We’re doing a similar cruise in ‘26 (which is way too far away). The one thing that I will definitely need to do in advance…learn how to pronounce the port names! Have a safe, uneventful trip back home.
  3. So glad you reminded us NCL folks about your summer journey. 7 weeks of cruising…WOW! Well-deserved my friend. I’ve been following the Princess board for a bit…as we have two Princess cruises booked—California coast in April ‘25 and Norway/Iceland in June ‘26. I must say, price is comparable to NCL and the food options look great. Really looking forward to your LIVES…summer reading for us all. Thanks for bringing us along. 😊
  4. Lol…it’s hubby’s so I’m not certain. There is cream cheese on the side. I looked at another day’s picture and it appears that is a poor excuse for a schmear…which may be why he asked for cream cheese on the side.
  5. Recently on the Jewel. No smoked salmon in buffet. Recommend going to MDR for breakfast. Order two servings of bagel with cream cheese and lox. A really nice presentation and serving.
  6. Gold Latitudes also have priority tendering. Once onboard, go to Cruise Next desk and get details about the priority tender process. With both Platinum and Gold you should not have a problem bringing Silver along. Of course, as @julig22 stated…within reason and numbers.
  7. It’s nice to hear that you got timely communication and a decent itinerary substitution. I’m sure other cruises/cruise lines were not as lucky! Prayers for everyone in Beryl’s path.
  8. The company I worked for in the 90’s-00’s used Fallon McElligot (now Fallon Worldwide) as our ad agency out of Minneapolis. They created for one of their clients the Herding Cats ad for TV. They were/are exceptionally creative.
  9. Thanks for the credit, but as @schmoopie17 already mentioned, all credit for the 2026 spreadsheet goes to @cruiseny4life … who also started the “cool kids cruise” on the 2/2/25 Getaway😁
  10. And, just for @cruiseny4life, Taylor will be close by, too!
  11. This will definitely be a good time to consider NCL transfer to MSY.
  12. We hope to book in the next day or so…waiting for a CF credit to get back to our account!! We won’t be in the Haven, but I know you get out and about a lot. maybe we could convince @ChiefMateJRK to join, too.
  13. This does look promising. 😊🤞. I don’t have access to do a mock booking…well at least easily, what is the final payment date for the 2/2/25 cruise?
  14. Ooooo…we might have to look at this one!! I’ve been looking for an easy Feb ‘25 cruise. Yay!
  15. While I said either itinerary, I think the Viva has better specialty dining and more spaces to meet up and create our own lounge experience…especially in warm weather. We’ve sailed Prima and Jewel and I think Viva has more to offer for 12-14 days. Unless you’re looking for swimming pools.
  16. @cruiseny4life hey there. It might be me, but I can’t add from my (ahem) iPad. Please add for me. Laudergayle. 2 pp. balcony or CBS if helpful. Ratrace08@gmail.com. We would consider either itinerary. Not definite but definitely interested. Thanks for coordinating 🥰
  17. The hair dryers are good, although the attached cord is sometimes a pain. You have to pull hard to stretch it enough…especially if you’re tall. They are typically in the drawer of the desk area.
  18. Ditto. Did Dad get one, too?
  19. One of my favorite things to do when traveling outside the US is to visit the local drugstore…the ones that sell more than drugs (legally)🤣. I’m intrigued by the different chips, candy, juices, beauty products, etc. Silly as it may be, the different candy is often the souvenir we bring home for the grands.
  20. I like this cruise and I like MSC. World America is a new ship…but very big. I don’t know how many on the NCL forum are willing to cruise outside of NCL, though.
  21. Right?? The Chief must be cruising on a ship w/o Starlink.
  22. Lol…we stayed in 12280 and we had pretty much exclusive use of the Panoramic. I now look for cabins near it.
  23. We’ve sailed Seaside and Seashore on very similar routes (3-4 day FL-Bahamas). IMO they are indeed very similar. We liked the pool setup a little better on the Seaside. One thing I noticed. On the Seaside, the pools were not walk-in. You had to go in/out by a ladder and the depth was 6 ft…but salt water. Even my DH who isn’t a good swimmer was ok enough to get in and float to the side. We also liked the two buffets on the Seaside. We like to book Balcony as far Aft as possible. The Panoramic lift is like a private elevator.
  24. Ohhh if those walls could (would) talk. Must have been a very interesting story behind this guy (and yes, def a guy).
  25. If I get this right, you could have a foreign-flagged cruise go from LA to Mexico, back to LA then from LA to Canada. Or, the cruise Schmoopie posted. Miami to Mexico then Miami to Bahamas to Miami. When I made my suggestion about (2) 7-day cruises B2B that’s what I was thinking. thank you for your explanation.😊
