I had a peek at Regent, but just their starting prices listed under the single supplement specials, made me wince. That price must be for an inside, and I was fortunate enough to get a balcony with the Labour Day sale.

I'm not a big drinker, barely even a little drinker, but if someone is offering, sure, I'll take a glass! I usually like to bring a bottle of Kailua on board, and have room service bring me some cream every day, so I can have a Brown Cow when the mood strikes.

I have booked a 7 day cruise on Insignia for next Sept, and am paying double the per person rate.

Will I get 1 reservation in each specialty or 2? What has happened for you past SOLO travellers?

Remember it is UP TO 4 categories...so a B4 would go to an A4, maybe. My TA tells me you go from a C2 to a B2, and that is what I'm hoping for. But, I am hearing the price goes up from what is posted before the sale, too, so what I am seeing for a C2 today, is not what it will be tomorrow. I'm hoping, though....

Thanks everyone. I KNOW I should fly in at LEAST the day before, and always have on previous cruises. This will eat away at me if I don't arrive the day before...It's just that there are so many flights from YYZ-NYC, I figure I'd get there before sailaway, even if I have to rebook on day of. Decisions, decisions!

I have always booked my own air, or paid the deviation fee to arrive early and leave late. I have booked an NYC-NYC cruise to Bermuda for Sept 2023.

I have no wish to spend time in NYC before or after the cruise, and will be flying form Toronto. It won't be snowing, I hope!

I like the fact that O provides transfer to and from ship to airport, as that can be quite pricey, from what I've seen.

Has anyone had experience with O supplied flights from YYZ-JFK? What time did you arrive in NYC? Any problems with cancellations? I realize ALL is different post-Covid, but want to know if I'm making a mistake....

I am booked solo (for my first time ever!), to Bermuda on Sept 20,2023, after 12 or so Oceania Cruises. I have never sailed any other line! Love Oceania!

I actually measured the bed a few yrs ago. It was 66 inches. Standard Queen is 60, King is 72.

If it's a private tour, ask to combine it with Cassis, and take a boat ride through les calanques.

Go ANYWHERE in Provence, rather than stay in Marseille. Luberon is my favourite area.

Hotel Ava. Have stayed there twice. In a great area.

also, make sure you get some Parmesan from the wheel, drizzled with Balsamic!

After eating, we "lug" it out to the pool deck, lounge, and have my first virgin frozen Pina colada; always been tons of room.

7008 is my fave. Because of its cutaway balcony, you can look straight out and aft while seated, and because of the barrier from the balcony closer to the front, it isn't windy, unless you are stand-in at or near the railing.

My favourite port excursion EVER was on Rangiroa!!! Wading between motus, snorkelling, fabulous lunch, fresh coconut. It was a dream!

Also love Bora Bora and Raiatea.
