I would think if they grandfathered the PPG thing, they should grandfather the amenities.

Yes, just taxi to hotel when you land. We stayed at Arc Las Rambles, right at the bottom end of Las Ramblas, and fairly close to the port.
In Athens,we stay at Hotel Ava, you can see the Acropolis at the end of the street. They had a flat rate to the airport, ask about it when checking in.

last year, we used Tuscany Bus.

in the search function, type in Cabin 10032, and read the threads. We found it VERY noisy at night, others didn't hear a thing!

expect to want to return to Oceania again and again! It is wonderful!!!

Honestly, I don't see why the footwear matters so much. It is only seen when people are walking to their table, and only then if people look down to see it. Once you are seated, it is a non issue. I don't think very many would dress appropriately and then don a pair of ripped runners or dollar flip flops, but I do know SOME would push the envelope.
Baseball caps in Jacques bother me a lot more!
As someone with foot problems, I sometimes wonder if I will need a note from my doctor!

I have contacted my TA once with an offer, and it was accepted, but the category was marked as available.

You're welcome.

It was our 4th cruise after Western Med, Eastern Med and Transatlantic. My husband wanted to do it, but I really was not excited.
I loved it! Such different architecture from the Med! Stockholm/Gdansk/Amsterdam/ St Petersburg were all amazing.
We have taken a few cruises since, but our next cruise is Amsterdam to Lisbon. Must spend more time in Amsterdam!

I would think they are the aft facing balconies, and they ARE wonderful!

There is a LOT of walking at the Toronto airport.
If it were me, I am afraid I wouldn't enjoy the visit, as I would be worrying about whether we would make the next flight....

Thanks Lou!

Could someone please post the price for a B3 in US dollars for me? Many thanks!

We were in Venice at the start of nov last year. One thing I would strongly suggest is a REAL sturdy umbrella. It was rainy and windy 2 out of the 3 days we were there, water blowing up from canals onto walkways, and flooding in some places. I never so so many (cheap) discarded, tossed, broken umbrellas in my life!!!

Have a great time, Lyn!

I was on an Oceania cruise, Barcelona to Venice. It stopped in Kotor(Montenegro), Dubrovnik, and Koper(Slovenia)

I felt t was bigger than a queen, and measured it...it is 66inches wide, so bigger than a queen.

Eeyore, this is GREAT!!! Thank you!

If we bring a case of Diet Coke on board with us, may we take a can to the dining room/ buffet, or is that frowned upon?
Thanks!

Eeyore, thank you for checking about bow access on deck 10.
Your photos are lovely! Enjoy your last day.

I think tomorrow is Glacier Bay. Please, if you have time, could you check to see if people are allowed to view from the bow on deck 10(Panorama). Our cabin is right at the front of the ship on that deck in Sept, and I just wonder if we'll be able to stand out there to take in the scenery....then I'll have to figure out how one gets there!
Are you dining at Pinnacle Grill? Look forward to hearing about it if you are, also want to see menu for 2nd Gala Night. And tell us about the special Chocolate Event that follows! Thanks!

bUU: my friends live in Campbell River on Vancouver Island(look at a map), and just last week they saw the ship pass by, so you should see some of Johnstone Strait...on the way home anyway!

I've only been to Vancouver once, but Stanley Park is beautiful, as is the view from Grouse Mountain. Also there is a famous suspension bridge, don't know the name...didn't go.
Specialty Restaurants on Longer Cruises
in Oceania Cruises
Posted
We have a 19 day cruise booked for next year, and I was just looking at various things in My Oceania.
I am quite sure that when we took a B2B of 18 days and 20 days in 2016, we got 2 reservations in each restaurant on each leg. We were on an R ship then; next year's cruise is on an O ship. This is what it reads for our 19 day cruise:
Owner's Suite, Vista Suite, Oceania SuiteCruises 7 days or less: 1 reservation at each restaurant
Cruises 8-17 days: 2 reservations at each restaurant
Cruises 18 days or more: 3 reservations at each restaurant
Penthouse SuiteCruises 17 days or less: 1 reservation at each restaurant
On cruises 18 days or longer guests in suite categories (OS,VS, OC and PH) can make one additional reservation in each of the specialty restaurants. Concierge level and below will still be eligible for only 1 reservation per restaurant.
The extra reservation must be made for the final third of the cruise.
Was it always like this on O ships?
