  1. :D We did a B2B on the Sunshine on our Thanksgiving cruise. It was sort of last minute so we had to change cabins. The ship's crew made it easy and fun. There was about 10 of us and we were told where to meet. One of the Fun Squad took us off the ship to the Customs officer and he looked at our Pass Ports and we went back on the ship. They gave us our new S&S cards. There were Mimosas waiting for us, they took a picture us us all and we each got a copy along with a ship on a stick and a bottle of champagne which was left in our room later that day. It was all such fun and easy and I will do it again when I can.

  2. :D Hi my name is Harold and I am an cruise addict. We love the Sunshine. We were on her for a B2B over Thanksgiving and leave this Sunday on a 8 day on the Sunshine. We both think that the Sunshine has some of the best food Carnival has to offer.

We love JiJi's and cucina del Capitano's. Great food for lunch (free) and both great for dinner at only $15, a person. The crew will go over the top to make you happy. The entertainment leave a bit to be desired but there is the Music Magic a great couple, and a small band in the Ocean Plaza that puts on a great show. As for the play list shows we don't enjoy them at all. If you enjoy the pool area you will find it a bit crowded mainly because there is only one pool. The Serenity deck how ever is one of the best on Carnival. The ship is very clean but is showing it's age, but then so am I' Hope you enjoy the Sunshine as much as we do. We will have to go cold turkey until April when we cruise again on the Sunshine. I really need to kick this habit.;p

  3. :D We were on the Sunshine in Nov. and I paid for 3 days at $16. a day. That's all we needed. The worst internet service I have ever had. I thought the idea was to compete with land based vacation that mostly offer free internet service. Guess I was wrong.

I works if you are wiling to wait a while for each page to come up.:(

  4. :D Hi all. I'm sure the answer to my question is out there in CC land. We are doing our first B2B next week on the Sunshine. First cruise is a 8 day and the second a 5 day. Parking at Port Canaveral we have always paid the parking fee as you drive into the garage. That will be for the 8 day cruise. When do I pay for the 5 day or will I not have to bay for the 5 day? Thanks in advance.

  5. ;) I just called Carnival yesterday and asked the rep. to E-Mali the MDR on the Sunshine 11/18 17 cruise and request a large table for our booking. We have done this for the last several cruises and have always had sinner at a large table. Try it, it's only a phone call.

  6. :D You need to try Cucina Del Capitano for dinner only $15 PP and worth every penny. It is also open for lunch at embarkation free of charge. Great pasta. We love the Sunshine and will be on her for Thanksgiving on a B2B. Only 16 days to go but who's counting?

  7. :D Loving these replies about B2B's. After 43 cruises we finally booked our first B2B on the Sunshine for next month. Nov. 18 to Dec 5. Really looking forward to it thanks for the information. Do you really have to surrender your old S7S card? I have saved all of them from all our cruises. Thanks

  8. :) We always enjoy going to the specialty dinning options on the ships and always put an additional tip on the bill. We have always had excellent service. The cost of each restaurant includes the gratuity but we always add extra. Just curious how others feel about this and how do you handle it?:ship:

  9. The casino on the Vista is enclosed and all the smoke stays with the smokers (LOL). It's one deck below the promenade. Being non smokers we really enjoyed the smoke free atmosphere and the smokers got to smoke while losing their money so we were both happy cruisers. There were other smoking areas on the Vista but they were all outside.

  10. :D I call every 2 weeks and have the rep. check out all my bookings. Made $70. today be doing this. They are always happy to check for you just call. I also check the prices on the booking engine from time to time. Found a lower fare for one of my bookings and will call tomorrow to check it out. Some times it works out other times there is a reason I can't get the cheaper price. Don't ever cost to check.

  11. :):) Sorry guys I grew up in NYC and was able to drink at the age of 18 and guess what I'm still here at age 78. It did not kill me. One more point at age 18 you can fight and die for our country but you can't drink beer? Let get off it and be real for a change enough of the PC.

  12. If you have an idea of when you might want to go to a particular restaurant reserve the time spot now on line and if you can't make if just cancel and ask for a new time. No cost to cancel and you might get lucky. We are sailing on the Sunshine in Nov. and have the steak house reserved already and are trying to decide when we want to do the other 2 restaurants. We will have all 3 reserved before the cruise.
