  1. Everything I can find online suggests it is adults only. This review of the recently launched Seascape says the solarium is for adults and I assume it's the same across the entire fleet. I didnt have access to this area on my last cruise but next time I'll be an Aurea guest and have to admit I hope it will be for adults only! (no offence meant to anyone with kids). All that said, I'm not 100% sure, so hopefully someone who's currently on a cruise can find out!
  2. The buffet not being willing to discuss options was the complete opposite of my experience. They had burgers available at lunch times and I asked if there were any veggie burgers. There weren't any at the time so they went out of their way to phone in a veggie burger from elsewhere on the ship and and cook it specially for me. They were very kind to do that when they could have just said "sorry, no".
  3. I was one of those brave / careless people ha ha. The water was slightly heated and the day we were in le havre the weather was actually relatively nice (for the time of year) so I gave the slides a go! Glad I did!
  4. There was one particular day on Virtuosa I was pretty hungover, and needed to eat loads to feel better. I asked if I could have one of every main course and it was no problem at all 😅 (for whats its worth , i didnt waste anything either, just before anyone judges me!)
  5. Yes good point, I forgot to mention this. Also we didn't notice until our 3rd day that the bedside lamps actually have USB slots in them so you can use your phone / tablet in bed while it's charging 🙂
  6. No problem, glad to help! And regarding cost we just got very lucky last time with the deal and a free balcony upgrade, our next trip on Virtuosa in May is also costing quite a bit more too but I still think good value. You'll love the Carousel shows! 🙂
