  1. In the UK all documents are now being sent electronically but unfortunately this does not include printable luggage tags. Was not happy with getting them at the cruise terminal, it could be chaos! Spoke to my TA and she has arranged for some to be sent in the post. I don't have a problem with printing the tags, I have some very sturdy holders which I have used for other cruise lines.
  2. How do I get from FLL to the Fort Lauderdale Brightline station?
  3. The most useful thing when in a non-english speaking country is to master the phrase "I don't speak (French/Spanish/Catalan/whatever). People in other countries are generally very pleased that that you made an effort and then speak excellent English
  4. You can get to Waterloo by underground utilising either the Piccadilly or Elizabeth line and the Jubilee line
  5. A simple search on Google maps will give you many hotel possibilities. Travelodge and Premier Inn are basic but clean and the beds are OK. Unfortunately prices will be quite high because of the short notice
  6. If you are planning to get to Southampton by train (the station is only a short taxi journey to the cruise terminals) you might want to consider an hotel near Waterloo station (which is where the trains to Southampton go from).
  7. Our last cruise out of Southampton was in November, no restrictions on entering the building
  8. Our cruise out of Southampton in June will be using the new Horizon Terminal opened in 2021. The layout looks very different to the other terminals we have used previously
  9. I remember our very first muster drill on O, some 15 years ago. We were required to go to our muster station and all crush together next to our assigned lifeboat. It was are more innocent time..... And wearing our lifebelts
  10. I have a very small purse, just big enough for a credit card or key card with a strong clip on the side which I can clip into my waistband
  11. The London Cruise Terminal is served by Tilbury Town train station. The train station is about a mile away from the terminal and only a few minutes by taxi. Trainline or National Rail Enquiries can assist with train timings and bookings. I think there is also a bus to Tilbury Town from the ferry terminal close by. Trains from Tilbury Town go to Fenchurch Street station
  12. I regret that I wasn't paying sufficient attention and allowed the spell check free reign 🤦 but I'm sure Beveridge will forgive me in time
  13. This package is described as beer or wine by the glass with lunch and dinner. Does the meal need to be eaten in the main dining room or can it be a burger in Waves or a snack in the Terrace Cafe? What about room service?
  14. The Riviera is scheduled to dock in Bordeaux, not Le Verdon, for our cruise in June
  15. Le Verdon has a railway station with services to Pauillac and Bordeaux
  16. We sailed from Barbados to Genoa in April and the weather was fantastic, very warm and sunny. We sat for hours on our, aft facing, balcony just looking at the sea. So relaxing
  17. What baffles me is why O haven't put any photos or details of the new cabin layouts and updated public spaces on their website
  18. Just back from two weeks on P&O Ventura where the food was pretty mediocre. Fewer choices than our cruises before Covid and at times little better than school meals. As for the cheese board....... As Cunard is also part of Carnival I wondered if the "cheese paring" is also in evidence for the ordinary passenger with Cunard, could not aspire to the Grills
  19. Mine was greyed out so I phoned P&O and they emailed them to me
