  1. I didn't mean to ask for a recommendation to match my taste. I only meant to ask for your opinion as to whether the wines offered in the "Always Included" package are good enough to forego bringing your own bottles onboard. (according to your taste)
  2. I see that because we have a wine package included with our fare, that we also are each allowed to bring 2 bottles of wine onboard without a corkage fee. My question is, is the wine available in the package good enough that it would be a waste of money and effort to bring our own onboard? Another consideration is that we intend to order room service for some or all of our meals and I see that our wine package does not include wine ordered through room service. Can we go to the bar and bring back wine to drink in our stateroom? Would it be worth the trouble, or would it be better just to bring our own wine onboard and "throw away" the included wine by the glass?
  3. DH and I are booked on a Princess cruise out of Southampton followed by a Viking River cruise out of Budapest this coming fall. These will be our first cruises since 2019. I hear that some cruisers who are vaccinated and boosted are getting sick, even though their ships require vaccines and testing. How do we avoid catching COVID on a cruise?
  4. DH and I are looking for a World Cruise that is preferably port intensive and also with an onboard casual atmosphere. We are retired, so the length doesn't matter. We are Elite on Princess and have considered her World Cruises, but it seems that the port calls are few and far between. We've already been to many of them. Oceania's world cruise has, to me, a very interesting itinerary, but having been on one Oceania cruise previously, I find that DH and I don't fit into her "Country Club" atmosphere.
