Hi All,
We're a family of 4, and are trying to figure out what room(s) on the Seascape would be right for us.
We are about to book 2 connecting balcony rooms, "Fantastica" experience. In addition, we'd book the all-inclusive drink package and purchase spa access for the week. We did this last summer on the MSC Preziosa and were perfectly happy with this. We have young kids and I don't think YC is for us (yet).
For a few hundred more, we could take a 1-bedroom Aurea suite. It's about the same amount of space as 2 balcony cabins, and includes some perks. Looks like there would be no set dining time, not a big deal for us. Whether or not we would get spa access is unclear (here in Germany, it is currently NOT shown as part of the Aurea experience). Also unclear is if non YC-suite guests can skip lines to get into tenders or get on dedicated security lines at port stops. The list of perks states "priority embarkation". Is "embarkation" only the first day, or every time we board the ship? Less waiting, and spa access would move the needle for us.
Basically, we like to have space, and we don't like to wait on line in ports if we can avoid it. We don't need a butler, or a ship in a ship, our kids will want to be in the main areas, anyway. Do you think a non-YC suite would deliver more than 2 balcony rooms would?
Thank you for any tips 😄
