We have seen on some past daily schedules that there are some theme dance parties on the ships. We are sailing the Breakaway very soon out of Rome in October and wondering if anyone has just sailed that can share information about these parties. 1. Do they still have 70’s/Disco, 80’s, and Glow party themed dance parties on different nights? 2. Do lots of people dress up for these? 3. With night in Mediterranean starting to get a little cooler, will they continue to hold these parties in Spice H20? I prefer the larger outdoor space compared to a confined night club space especially if they get crowded. 4. How long do they go if they start at 10 or 10:30 at night? Thank you! Getting very excited for our first NCL cruise coming up in couple weeks!!

If check ins start about 9:30 and we will not get to port until about 11:30am, what are the chances that we will be able to choose an 11:30 check in time if we wait until day 18 or 19 to do our online check in? We really don’t want to stay up past midnight to check in on day 21 if the check in time of 11:30am or even 12pm will be available to choose and don’t fill up too quick

If we do not check in at midnight when in opens up, what times would I expect to get for possible check in times? Not sure when 1st check time is, how far apart they are spaced, or which times are gone immediately. We are not planning to get to port until about 11:30am so not sure if 11:30 check in time goes quick. Any help is greatly appreciated! I appreciate the feedback we have gotten thus far with our other questions!

Taking our 1st NCL cruise so luggage tag process is new to us. At what point should we get an email with luggage tags to print (approximately how many days out)? We are 25 days from sailiand have not reveal email about luggage tags yet. Also, any tips when printing them out besides using color? Do you have to print double sided or anything else we should know? Do you wait til you get to your destination to attach them if you have a deviation? How do you attach them to your luggage if they are just made of printer paper? Thanks in advance!

We just got our flights to Rome for October 13th cruise (all through Delta Airlines). We are cruising with 2 other couples and all 6 of us are luckily booked on the same flights there and back! We were able to pick seats after receiving our email confirmation however were unable to upgrade our seats to basic economy even though they are available for a cost - our airline ticket restricted us from upgrading we found out after attempting multiple times to upgrade and pay for them. We are super happy with our flights - 1 layover in JFK in NY on the way there and back with layovers between 2.5 - 3 hours each. We arrive in Rome at 10:20am 2 days before the cruise!

When Checking in at Day 21 and having to pick a check in time - what are the choices and do they fill up? What is your recommendation? We are trying to figure out a pick up time for our transfer from hotel in Rome. If we get picked up at 10am at hotel that should get us to port approximately 11:30am but not sure if you would recommend we get there sooner than that. Can others share what time they selected for check in at day 21? What time they got picked up from hotel and arrived at port? How long it took to go through security and check in at the port? And what time you were able to board cruise ship? Thank you!!

Correct we have not gotten our airline flights yet. Will be flying from Buffalo, NY to Rome and back. Cruise is out of Rome/Cittavechia (spelling). Didn’t know if we should be worried about getting our flights less than 30 days out or not. When is the latest that any of you have received your flights from NCL? And if they were incorrect (deviation wise) were you able to get them rectified quickly?

Sorry my paste did not apply when I posted it. At this time, we are experiencing a large volume of airline schedule changes and modifications and as such we will be issuing your flight confirmation approximately 30 days prior to the embarkation date.

Seeing that many people/posts share getting BOGO airfare reservations before day 60 for international flights. We are at 56 days from sailing and still haven’t heard anything just yet. Did get email about a week ago stating “ Is this email something that most passengers get and we could still see our flights at anytime? Or do you think we will be waiting another 25-30 days to find out? I am worried that we will be getting them less than 30 days out which makes me very nervous especially if they screw up our 2 day deviation in advance.

How are you notified of your flights? If by email, is it from NCL? Our 1st NCL cruise is in 63 days out of Rome so hoping to receive flights soon!

Thank you! I probably should clarify American Football! How likely is it that if we have a large group of people sailing all wanting to watch a specific game that they might put the game on? Honestly not even sure with time change how feasible it would be. Also curious where you might be able to watch sports games on the Breakaway?

How about during football season? Will they play some of the more popular games on an overseas sailing?

Sailing Breakaway for first time in few months and wondering if there are is any free fast food or take out food on upper decks near pools or sun decks? Also just read somewhere else about a Margaritaville on Breakaway but never read or heard that previously anywhere else so not sure if that is true or incorrect.
