We considered cruise to Alaska from Seattle R/T without passports, but our TA advised it was good to have in event of an emergency (ie medical in Victoria, BC). If we had to fly back into US, we would have to have a valid passport. Also, one of the White Pass Railway/coach excursions (train to White Pass Summit, returning via coach rather than train) required a passport to book. Nonetheless, we went ahead and got our passports. Then we’ll have for any future adventures outside the US. Maybe the Caribbean next time.

Thanks all for the heads up! Just re-booked our EZAir that allows changes until 7/18, saved $300 and got seats we wanted.

Thank you Shaw5! These look like they could be bigger than stateroom showers. My DH can barely use the tiny shower in our travel trailer because of hardware in his back, and I suspect he could have the same issue in our stateroom. This could help him out.

Just purchased pair of waterproof sneakers the other day for our September Alaska trip! Will also be great for wet weather camping.

Forgive my ignorance, what are MUTS?

I’m very cold natured, so a little crazy cruising to Alaska, but going for it! Does Princess offer bathrobes in Balcony (BB) cabin and if not, can one get an extra blanket for the balcony? Trying not to over pack something I can get onboard😉

I have not been very successful at searching a particular topic, so please forgive me if this has been discussed before. Question about breakfast hours onboard during port days. Do they open early enough to eat before early scheduled excursions?
