The only place we were directed to go was to our muster station.. That was pretty much non negotiable lol.. Granted after that we wanted a drink so straight up the elevator to the vibe to get away from that madhouse for a while 😄

LOL being our first cruise, and just trying to figure out where we were we would have welcomed someone directing us to the buffet lol.. But we figured it out 😄

Interesting.. Not sure why that would make a difference if you've dealt with this person before and feel they've gone over and above for you and you just wanted to show them thanks.. But that's cool.

I would say unless it's one with a larger balcony, no.. Not an expert but a 'normal' club balcony doesnt have room for a recliner IMO..

Gotcha, I have no clue which one mine is.. I cannot remember if they called me after I had signed up and was just browsing and got to the selecting a room or if was actually after I put a deposit down and booked it. Either way with the way they track stuff, again I ASSUMED 😉 that if it was me, on my account, the same person would get it.. I mean, I've fixed the issue, if we find something we're interested in, I email them, and if it's even remotely close to normal business hours, I get a call.. Heck, I've gotten a call from them at 10pm on a Saturday after I had a question.. I have a feeling it must be a longer term thing as we got a hand written card and business cards sent to us a few times asking us to pass them on to others that may want a cruise.

LOL they werent a thing of the past dec 2-9, 2023.. BUT as others have said, I can see where they would be a thing of the past.. Or we were just lucky and one of the last ones to have them. Plastic that's snapped into a loop that if it fell into the ocean could get caught on turtles or something. And also as stated, most people didnt wear them anyway.. We let the lady put ours on because we didnt really know any better. But soon realized it was ok not to have it. edit: And just for nostalgia you can see it on my wifes wrist lol

Ok if I call it gratuity would that be better? Everyone else I deal with at NCL sure wants them.. And NO I am not expecting people to tip their PCC's.. Ours has just done a lot of extra legwork since when it comes to things like cruises I tend to me a bit obsessive sometimes and they get blasted with emails about certain things, and making sure I didnt miss this or wanting to add that etc etc.. Sure I get it's their job but sometimes you just want to say an extra thanks to people.

@JandC_Cruising100% agree, wasnt any big deal and like you said, after just a day or two they have a good idea if you're supposed to be there or not.. Then they really know if you order a drink lol..

We had an extra deal or no deal due to missing GSC (have a feeling not an unusual thing) and it was a lady with her 13 year old grandson.. The lady was "playing" but really it was the boy doing all the calls.. Dude ran the board, didnt waiver in his choices, didnt swap at the end and won the $1000. The atrium went nuts!!! Was just a really fun time. Everyone was high fiving each other like we all won lol.. This was the escape so osheehans crowd got involved so that whole area was cheering..

Interesting, we got our bands at checkin, mine was twisted because the lady wasn’t paying attention lol.. so I had an infinity bracelet

Also if you like to try new things, if they do it, partake in “shot clock” they just make shots and hand them out. They are good lol

You will be given wristbands at checkin and your card will be set to allow access to the vibe. You are supposed to wear the wrist bands but after a day or two the bartenders will probably recognize you and of course your card will show you have access

I think I had to do either cache clearing or cookie clearing one time on my pc. All my other devices worked but 1 computer lol. Or could just be one of those awesome ncl website features that’ll fix itself in a day or two lol

With the premium plus you can get cans, otherwise think you have to purchase them.

The way the atrium was on the escape, is rather have the game shows than a band trying to play. The sound is horrible for music there and that makes for just a not fun session. It just wasn’t good at all. Put the music in places made for music or smaller areas maybe. Dunno just didn’t seem to work as far as I was concerned.

We got it the larger bathroom. But the other stuff listed is nice too. And also think you get a different color card.

I gave my wife the choice.. Early check in time, earlier to board, but going to be waiting in a large room with some seating but maybe not enough for everyone (had no clue, and honestly still dont know lol) for probably a couple of hours.. Or show up 11:30 or so, (which was her choice) MAYBE had a little wait (only had about 5 minutes in security because as usual I picked the wrong line and people in front of us were clueless on stuff, passengers, not workers) then pretty much walked right up to the check in desk, got our cards and pics taken, then walked right on the ship.. MAYBE 20 minutes from getting out of car and giving porters bags (we were dropped off) to walking on the ship. Actually just looked at pics I took.. got out of car at 11:27 walked onto ship at 11:56 so 30 minutes.. 😉

I know for our dec 2023 escape, we were able to check in before midnight ON THE APP, the website wasn't allowing it.. Or was it the website would and the APP wouldnt... Either way, I was checked in before midnight.. And I'm eastern time zone so nothing to do with that.

Well, since this is the only ship with this style room layout, I think that says quite a bit lol.. I'm sure it's fine but quite a choice in the layout... Still not sure why the toilet area couldnt at least be a "room" the shower, while weird, ok, I get it

Imagine this, I dont think they allow food around or in the pools either...
