  1. Our cruise out of Port Canaveral in April has a check in time listed. We purchased Faster 2 Fun, so I'm not sure if that applies still.

We are on the Valor out of PC this June. Do not see this option

However, our PVP said by then PC will have staggered boarding.

  2. You can finish the check in and then go back to edit it at any time. My daughters boyfriend is traveling with us and I didn't have his passport or credit card info and we hadn't booked flights. I just put down that he was setting up a cash account and traveling with a birth certificate and that we were all driving to port and was able to complete the checkin. I then went back when I had his info and was able to change his info online and keep the early boarding time. Originally, our Magic cruise from PC had the boarding times to choose. However, by the time I had our flight info the boarding time option had been taken away. It was some type of programming error that prevented anyone from accessing their booking, so they took it away from the PC Magic sailings. I imagine they will add it back at some point. But, when it was there I was able to finish online checkin then go back and change it later without losing the checkin time I had selected.

We are sailing June this year out of Port Canaveral.

My PVP when asked said that staggered boarding will be experienced at PC in June

  3. Not sure it was the same terminal you will be leaving from, but it was bad for us. So much so, we will not be returning to this port. There was a priority check in line for Plats, Dia, FTTF, and Suite guests. This line was fed in with the general check in lines. General check in was much shorter.

We were directed to a large room without windows and two standard size doors for exiting/entering. All these groups, plus special needs, including walkers and scooters, were in this same area. We arrived at 1100 and were able to have a seat. The room filled quickly to standing room only. It was claustrophobic! Of course, exiting was going to be crazy. One employee came to the doorway at about 1230 and softly said something about Diamonds and Platinums. Couldn't hear much. The rush and push began. We held back and waited until almost all had left.

We were directed to make our way down behind the guests checking in and in front of the lines awaiting check in. It was certainly dangerous with all the carry on luggage some bring. There were at least 300 in that "Priority" waiting area.

So, simple fix for us. We did our surveys, reported our experience onboard to GS. That's all we can do. Probably won't go back to this port.

Hope your experience is much better. The cruise and ship were wonderful! Debark painless and early.

We have experienced this twice now at Port Everglades. The second time my 2 year old granddaughter was hit in the head as she sat in her stroller. Someone with many carryons rushing to be first on board. They had everyone except general boarding together. There were handicap with walkers and wheelchairs plus diamond, platinum and fttf! Really sad thing is we were almost at the back of the crowd to avoid the pushing & shoving.

I will not cruise out of PE until the mob situation is improved and I did let Carnival know of this incident

  4. I, as many, did not believe in acupuncture. Lived in Hawaii mid 80's for 3 years and Marine hubby ran the Honolulu marathon 3 years. First 2, even after some training he was one beaten man. After the third time acupuncture was offered free and he had it done immediately. OMG what a difference. He was able to carry on like usual.

So 3 years ago I had a reaction to a common antibiotic resulting in tendoinitis. Pain was unreal and never resolved. Finally my daughter reminded me of the acupuncture post marathon. Had 2 months of weekly then 6 months of every other week treatments and they really helped.

Was going on a cruise during my treatments and she gave me a paper stating the all the info to give them if I needed acupuncture during my cruise. Thankfully did not need it

    But I am now a believer. 😀

  5. Family cruise this June on Breeze. My 3 year old granddaughter was with us. It was her third cruise but first that she could go to the camp. She loved playing with the other kids as did my grandsons when they were younger.

We only seen the camp from a peek over the locked partial doors. Believe me! As the mother of a child who was victim to an attempted abduction in our home town you want that security.

That was our peace of mind. I hope all of you, parents and child enjoy your cruise

PS. No you cannot enter the camp area except on orientation night and family events which they do have

  6. I love Jax as it is the easiest and quickest for boarding. Carnival is the only line out of it and they only have one ship. The ship now is a fantasy class the Fascination. The Elation is the same class and that class is the smallest of all their ships. We have been on 6 cruises from Jax and loved every one of them. Be sure to be outside when the ship goes under the bridge.

Debarkation is super easy and quick too. Enjoy😊
