Now the question for me is how do they handle customer who planned back-to-back cruises. We were booked on both the 8th northbound and the 15th southbound and purposefully booked the 2 cruises together. We are not necessarily all that interested in just going for the single week sailing on the 15th.

Received that email for the 8th sailing + a text saying the same for the 8th & 15th sailing. It did say another update would come out tomorrow (Tuesday). It looks hopeful but seems a final decision has not been made yet. In any case, let the packing begin! We are flying out Wednesday evening from Minnesota & need a final decision by then.

We are also on the Northbound Alaska leaving on the 8th AND the Southbound on the 15th. Happened to stumble across this on a blog and then found this thread - have not received any notification from RCL so far. Will continue to follow here! Kind of curious of how to handle everything IF the NB cruise on the 8th is cancelled by the SB on the 15th does not get cancelled. Just praying that the issue is figured out and the cruise on the 8th & then the 15th are not cancelled.
