Eagle Beach
in Aruba
I've sat under that bus stop a dozen times waiting for the bus . It's the best ticket on Aruba. Never a long wait always reliable never a problem.

Btw could you imagine going up and down into Magens Bay on a scooter.😲
OMG that's really funny. I'm so focused on getting alcohol and going to a beach I couldn't drive a tricycle.😂😂😂😎😎🌟🌟🌟🌟

Another thing and this gets back to the "hilly terrain" you mentioned Ms411 With backpack I'm close to 300lbs. 6'6 inches tall.😂 You should see me on a scooter. It's funnier than you think it is!!
I ride alot small motor bikes and have built them. Your going to need a scooter that's going to navigate those hills and roley poley roads. As much fun as I've had driving scooters it never occurred to me to drive one around on St. Thomas.
That's a new one.😎

Whatever you do DO NOT stay on the ship at this destination. Martinique is magnificent. Christelle Eugene of Karambola Tours and forget everything else. Have fun, we had an absolute blast. Real deal top shelf tour.

Driving a scooter on St Thomas is more challenging than Antigua because of the hilly terrain. The scooters on St Thomas aren't very powerful either. Be very careful!
More challenging?? It would be a nightmare going up and around all the "hilly terrain" on St. Thomas.
I should have mentioned I would only recommend something like this to experienced riders and still then it's dicey. Thanks Ms411🤜🤛

There is at least one scooter rental company near the Havensight dock. Best to check reviews and go with your gut. I haven't rented a scooter.
I've rented a scooter!! A couple of times just not on St. Thomas, I rented one on Antigua twice. Great way to see any island. I drink too much on St. Thomas to rent or drive anything🥴😁 but I highly recommend it. Lots of fun pretty safe all things considered and you can go anywhere riding one of those things. If you don't drink very much, I highly recommend zipping around the island on a scooter. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I've been to both of them. If you have children you may prefer Darkwood Beach. Last few times I've been by there they had a water park thing for children. You can Google it.
Dickinson is right down the bay, it's a great beach all those beaches are.
My personal preference is Turners same Bay but at the very end.
Nice beach bar, nice bathrooms great beach, BUT a little drop off and so is Dickinson.
I don't ever remember a drop off at Darkwood it changes though.
Any of these 3 beaches you can't lose nice beaches views are off the chain.
Have fun.
City Bus #22
Or email Lawrence and he'll take care of everything. Have fun, I always do.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Yes it shouldn't answer all the chair and umbrella questions.
The last time I was on Magens Bay, they had some chairs and maybe some umbrellas but not like what's in your photos.
I was so focused on getting to the far end of the bay I really wasn't paying a whole lot of attention but that wasn't there, several times. I would have seen those and did not. Looks great, I'm still going about 80% of the way down the bay and dropping my backpack cooler my beach towel and having a time.
They need to charge cruiser's more to get on Magens exactly like they're doing on all the other beaches in the Caribbean.
$5? Seems unacceptable, I'm not sure how that math adds up.
Cruisers can afford it, if they can't then they can stay on ship, drink Shirley Temples and Diet Coke.
$10 just for starters admittance to Magens for cruisers.
How nice would that be. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Gotcha, thank you.
I just hope one day downtown will be like it used to be.
It looks and sounds like everyone is trying to get on the same page.
Thanks for the update.

Damn!! That looks great somebody did something. Sorry Ms411 I'm just back after serving a 14 day suspension for running my mouth.☹️
Thanks for the great pictures.
Too make a real long story short I'm trying to find a nice 14 day sailing for this fall.
The options on STT are getting much better.
Thanks for the great pictures. Appreciate you. Todd

Eagle Aruba is a resort that is about a block away from the beach. It's a nice resort with a great pool. They have some reserved beach chairs and shade (palapas) on the beach, but those are usually taken pretty early by their resort guests. There is a vendor beside them that rents chairs and umbrellas, but that can be done on your own without getting a day pass.
Thanks that's great info.

Total nightmare.🫣
Better get on Resorts for a Day.com ASAP and see if you can purchase a day room at the St.Kitts Marriott Resort. I was there with 4 ships in port in Dec. 2018 and it was packed.

Saddest thing in the world. Levi is just like the rest of us, he's no spring chicken anymore.
Everything has changed post pandemic especially in the cruise industry and everything that goes along with it. I just hope Levi's happy.

Change of plans. Read some scathing reviews about the RCL excursion to Secret Sands/Smith Bay Eco Park so we switched to an excursion to Trunk Bay. A bit more $, but should be relaxing.
SMART!! Great choice!! The extra $ doesn't matter when it comes to Trunk Bay!!😎😁😎😁
Eco Park🙁🙄🫤😳 I wasn't going to say anything but now that you made the correct choice and are going over to Trunk Bay, Eco Park I thought you were kidding.😨

Your welcome.
I've been doing this a long time Martinique went straight to the top of being one of my favorite islands. Great vibe, absolutely stunning flora and landscape. I highly recommend a booking a full day island tour like I did on my first visit.
I can't wait to go back to Martinique.
