  1. The Pitons are " not your typical tourist spot"? Last 5 or 6 times I was there thank God Spencer took us in the speedboat otherwise we would have been sitting out in the jungle with all the other tourists who couldn't find a spot on the beach. Sugar Beach was slammed packed.......with tourists just like us.😎
  2. One things certainly for sure Marigot Bay, Sugar Beach aka Jalousie Beach Plantation and maybe Souffriere on a private cat tour or otherwise aren't "your typical tourist stops".😳-----------🫤
  3. Some of the best snorkeling I've ever done actually I've never seen that much life in the ocean since is at the end of Orient Beach. Right out from the Dive Shop. Best snorkeling in the eastern Caribbean. I stepped on a sea urchin had to get back to the ship with a 2 inch barb in my heal. The doctor on the ship removed it from the bottom of my foot.🫣 Orient Beach is nothing but life, it's just like anything else just watch what your doing your in for a very pleasant surprise.
  4. That sounded like a blast!! Keep this in mind anytime your on a speedboat with Spencer Ambrose one of the boats ALWAYS breaks down and Spencer is always sick. That's just how it is. Love the guy, boat always breaks down and Spencer doesn't feel good.😳
  5. I'm pretty brave PORT ROYAL😂😂😂😂 especially when it comes to drinking in the Caribbean!! Bush Rum I won't forget that. Thanks for the heads up!!🤜🤛🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

    Wet Lizard Tours

This is correct. I met with both my tour groups to Goffs Caye at The Wet Lizard. I booked the tours both times online with Resorts for a Day and we met right beside it. Wasn't going to stand there and wait for our tour to leave with a killer bar right there. I sat down at the bar and started early. Your tour won't leave early when you get off the tender at the port, you'll have some time to have a drink and get a bite to eat if your hungry before you take another tender out to Goffs. Wet Lizard great food cold beer excellent vibe I highly recommend it before and after your trip to Goffs Caye.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  7. Personally I like it over at Redhook. It's a breathe of fresh air from the Havensight or Crown Bay rat race. Sapphire Beach is right there. Depending on what time you're ship disembarks you could always take the ferry over to St. John and chill out for a few hours. Once you get over to that side of the island I would spend my day over there in some capacity. Sapphire Beach is one of my favorite beaches on STT. Go to the beach first and then go up to Duffy's. It's a cool bar. Have fun.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  8. Btw welcome to Cruise Critic. Just for the record when you need a taxi back into town, walk back down to the Redhook ferry terminal, they'll be a half a dozen or so taxis waiting on passengers to take back to either pier. No problem no worries.
  9. No I haven't taken that tour but I have been by the beach you mentioned $35 for transportation to and from plus beach chair lunch and a drink, can't beat it. That's a great beach I've been to all the beaches around it, they're all awesome. Good choice. If you decide to take this tour when your on the beach look to your left at about 10 o'clock the island with steam and smoke coming out of it is Montserrat(8 miles away) it's an active volcano or was when I was there. Great beach great views wonderful water. Go have fun.🤜🤛
  10. I've done this. Just take a taxi no problemo. Tell your taxi driver your going to Redhook when he drops you off just walk up the hill to the left and Duffy's is sitting right there at the end of the parking lot. Now taxi from Havensight or Charlotte Amalie $20 each way to Redhook.
  11. Yes!! The best!! Look no further. I miss Lawrence. Thanks PORT ROYAL 🤜🤛
  12. That has gone up a lot. $16 one way? We walked took less than 20 minutes each way. I walked it in my flip flops no problem. The $20 includes your deck chair rental? It was $11 the last 2 times I was there. $15 a drink that's about right, makes for one helluva bar tab every time.
  13. Sounds exactly like Levi's tour.
  14. Iguana Joe's. It'll be packed go have dinner and fun with everyone else. Can't miss it. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  15. Passions ON THE BEACH.
  16. The whole idea of it is despicable. I saw those poor little monkeys my heart broke for them. What a crock and crummy thing to want to do on your cruise vacation.😦
  17. Just tell the Maitre'd when you walk in the Michaegelo Dining Room your solo and you would be happy to sit at a table with others. He or she will walk you to a big table with your fellow cruisers and seat you. Nice hello all, big smile and your in. Done it dozens of times, never a problem. Have fun no worries.😎
  18. I loved the Carnival Fantasy Class Ships back in the 90's True "Fun Ships". I sailed twice on the Sensation it was a blast. Got on the Destiny in 1997 Inaugural last Carnival Cruise. Jumped to Princess on the advice of a good travel agent and have never looked back. I was on the Carnival Destiny 4th of July 1997, it was a nightmare. Knew I could find another level of cruising and did with Princess. It's just like anything else you get what you pay for. Have fun sailing Princess solo. Alaska on Princess solo you need to forget about everything else and go have a time on your Alaska Cruise. 🤜🤛🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  19. The Emerald Princess solo there's so much to do all day and night long you can't do everything. Explorers, Crooners and Adagio are awesome bars especially solo. Solo I prefer watching show's in Explorers Lounge more than I do the Princess Theatre. For several reasons mostly bar service and it's easy to get to the restroom and in and out of your seat. Princess Theatre is a nightmare. Crooners and Adagio are the finest martini bars I've ever been in. Great venues on the ship to hangout solo and enjoy a cocktail or two. The Emerald Princess is so solo friendly after my first sailing on it, 2007 Inaugural I went back and did it 4 more time's. I would cruise on her again solo I'm just trying to cruise different ships. It really doesn't matter what ship you cruise with Princess if you want to cruise solo like I do and do your own thing whenever you want Princess is the only way to go. Has been the only way to go for quite sometime. Have fun cruising Princess solo welcome to the party.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  20. I cruised on the Grand Princess solo 14 days Eastern and Southern Caribbean back in 2012. 2-7 day cruises back to back. Other than the crummy passenger list and my first experience with a crew that was angry and hostile, everything else was great. Not a bad ship undergone extensive renovations over the year's. Grand Princess to Alaska you can't lose it's going to be nice.
  21. Nope I'm saying he takes you from the pier straight to Long Bay Beach on the other side of the island it's beautiful. Spend the morning on the beach get back in the van go straight to Turners right through the rainforest not the scenic route and spend the rest of the afternoon ON THE BEACH. I've done this twice, been to Antigua almost a dozen times and going with Lawrence is tough to beat. Lawrence will personalize your tour but your not going to find a better day than starting out at Long Bay swimming all morning at the beach packing up around noon and heading straight to Turners Beach. We had all afternoon on Turners it was great. Long Bay and Turners and I've been to A LOT of beaches on Antigua are my favorite the idea I get to go to both on the same tour is all me. Nice people nice bus nice drinks. If you don't want to take a tour and want to spend all day on the beach go straight to Turner's from the pier. You'll figure it out. Have fun.😎
  22. Hey PORT ROYAL, Let me ask you something. I'm trying to get back to St. Kitts this Thanksgiving(November-December) on another ship visit. I was going to try something different this visit to St. Kitts and go over to Nevis something I've never done. After all is said and done is it worth the time and $$$ to commit to spending the day on Nevis? Or would I be better off staying on St. Kitts and doing the day pass again? Thanks Todd
  23. I've stay at the Courtyard Marriott right across the street from Coconuts many times, been eating at Coconuts since it opened about 12 year's ago. It's a great location on Seabreeze, easy walking distance to Las Olas and A1A. I think the food is very over priced, the food was good but nothing special. Service sucked. I don't go back there anymore there's too many other great restaurants on Las Olas or upstairs at BeachPlace, or in one of the hotels to eat at Coconuts anymore. It's the place to be seen and unless your a local and a regular customer and I'm not, it's not worth it.
  24. Lawrence of Antigua is not a land tour. We spent the day at 2 of the nicest beaches Turners and Long Bay on opposite ends of the island twice with Lawrence it was GREAT!! After 8-9 visits to Antigua at this point I'm not sure I would spend my day with anyone else.
