  1. Herod Stanislas best land and sea tour on St. Lucia. Bar none.
  2. Trying to get back to Charlotte Amalie this fall. I'll be cruising Princess so we will be docked at Havensight. I was just wondering if anyone had put in a grocery store at Havensight yet. Thanks for any input.
  3. PORT ROYAL You are SO funny!! That's true. I'm going back to St. Kitts this Nov. and doing the Marriott Day Pass with the exact same protocol I've used in the past. Works every time. Love that Marriott beach and the REAL ocean. It's magnificent. Gonna leave the Marriott around 1:30pm and take a taxi to Palm Court Gardens before we get back on the ship. Have a couple of vodka martinis say hello to everybody have a couple more vodka martinis and then head back to the ship. It's a plan.
  4. I would love to have any information anyone has about Deep Sea fishing out of Fort-de-France. Thank you.
  5. You gotta be kidding me!! I'll text Levi tonight. How sad I was with Levi 3 time's his tour is the premier tour in all the southern Caribbean. No ships are going to Dominica anymore. I'm trying to find one for this fall I don't see Dominica on anything. Thank you for this information.
  6. Barcelo best day pass on Aruba. If you can get one.
  7. I've been to the beach you are referring to many times. I love Eagle Beach I really enjoy the beach the water the vibe and Amsterdam Manor. I've said this before the Amsterdam Manor Beach Bar is one of the best true beach bars in the southern Caribbean. When you walk out of the port walk across the street buy a ticket $1.50 on the city bus. They'll show you everything. There's a bus stop Right beside the beach. Drops you off at the beach picks you up at the beach. Only way to get around on Aruba is public transportation. Cheap reliable safe picks you up and drops you off at the port. Get back a few minutes early and hit Iguana Joe's best restaurant at the port a crew favorite. Can't miss it. Best Bloody Mary's on the island. Great food too. Good luck and have fun.
  8. Turner's Beach at the end of the bay. Last beach on the right. Great beach Great bar nice and peaceful. Highly recommend. I can't wait to go back with Lawrence. 4 beaches past Darkwood. Take city bus #22. Your good.
  9. Hey thanks PORT ROYAL for this info. Hadn't seen this before. Appreciate you.
  10. Lawrence is the only way to go. We had a great group in Dec. 2018. 2nd time with Lawrence we had a blast.
  11. I almost forgot a 2 minute walk to Las Olas. Best ticket in Lauderdale. Trust Todd on that one.πŸ˜‰
  12. Let's Not try the Hyatt Place and let's try the Courtyard Marriott on Seabreeze right between the BEACH the Marina and COCONUTS!!
  13. It depends, thats what's tricky. Done this a half a dozen times and another half a dozen times from Crown Bay to Redhook. Try and mention to others on your sailing about taking the ferry to St John. The more people the less you pay up to 8 people. The sooner you get to Redhook the sooner you get to Trunk BayπŸ˜‰. On average and I'm sure it's not the same now but I took a safari van from Havensight to Redhook 12/18 for around $12, but I've paid more I think $18, with just 3 of us in a van. We were in a Huge hurry to catch the 8am ferry and we did. It's totally worth it if you and your teammates are up to it. Depending on when your ship disembarks, always catch the ferry 2 hours minimum before you leave. 5pm(Princess)every time I catch the 3pm ferry from Cruz Bay back to Redhook. Cost $15 minimum. Me, I'm keeping it simple if I commit to going over to St. John transportation to and from THE SHIP, straight up $100 minimum(you are your own tour guide 😎) That's double what I've paid in the past. Taxi from Havensight to Redhook $20 Round-trip ferry ticket $20 Taxi from Cruz Bay to Trunk Bay $20 Entrance fee to Trunk Bay $5 Taxi Back to Cruz Bay from Trunk $20 Taxi From Redhook to Havensight $20 Right at $100 ........God forbid you have a train wreck bar tab tack on another $100 minimum.πŸ€ͺ Heading to St. John and having fun, I would budget $200(US) for the day. I'm being conservative. Hope this helps. πŸ™‚
  14. Here's the deal I hope this saves you some time. We were in Fort De France in Dec. 2018 on the Caribbean Princess. I researched resort day passes, island tours private or otherwise, beaches, and must see places. Spent monthsπŸ™„ trying to find the best way to spend the day on my first visit to Martinique. I went with Karambola Tours I didn't know what else to do. I'm the KING of resort day passes all over everywhere. On Martinique I'm not real sure at all they know what a Day Pass for a fee is. If they did I would have already done it, furreal.πŸ™‚ Too bad I love this island, planning a trip now back to this destination hopefully on my next visit they will have figured it out with Day Passes. If you happen to stumble across an AI Resort Day Pass on Martinique please let us all know. Otherwise I'll be spending my day on the nice bus with Karambola Tours again. Thanks.
  15. No. You have to take a boat or a long bus ride on a tour to get there.

    Gouda Cheese

Yummo!! That sounds wonderful, throw in a tight glass of Chardonnay(Napa Valley preferably) and your da chit!! Count me in on that next time I'm on the island. Appreciate ya!!πŸ˜‰...........πŸ˜πŸ˜‰
  17. Hi Eva!! "the BEST Hamilton tour?" Wazzat? Never heard of it but it sounds fun, I think. Sounds kinda snooty, count me in.πŸ˜‰
  18. I never take a Princess(ship sponsored) tour to Orient. Pick a taxi up right off the pier, never a problem getting taxi's in either direction. Btw knew nothing about "protests and unrest" on the French side of the island. I much prefer the French side for alot of reasons but mainly because Orient is such a nice beach.
  19. I didn't indicate anything Wim may have moved on. I heard last time he was not operating the Woodwind anymore it's been awhile back and started working for Carnival. I have no interest in disserving anybody.
  20. Wim was the guy who owned the Woodwind for years. We had 2 different CC groups that snorkeled Klein Bonaire off the Woodwind with WIM from the Netherlands. Last I heard he was working for the cruise lines I assume he has since sold The Woodwind. I previously posted reviews about the tour and Bonaire altogether, started going to Bonaire in 2007 when it first opened to cruise ships been here a half a dozen times since. I love the island, all the progress being made is great BUT #1 I'm getting to old for serious snorkeling especially something like Klein Bonaire and #2 there's really not anything else I want to see or do on the island. #3 if you don't snorkel there's nothing else to do. Great island though. πŸ™‚
  21. Our CC group we did Klein Bonaire twice with Wim on the Woodwind. Best snorkel tour on Bonaire hands down. You never know what your going to see. Snorkeling is easily some of the best in the Southern Caribbean.
  22. No parking fee but I have a feeling the transportation costs over and back have increased also. I used to get over and back from Crown Bay for about $55(US). I'm sure that's changed. The taxi from Crown Bay or Havensight to Redhook is probably close to $20 each way now. $6 Ferry fee, taxi and entrance fee to Trunk another $20, to and from Cruz Bay. Plus bar tab, better have a lot of fun.πŸ™‚ that's a long day a alot of $$$.
