  1. It's not Kmart anymore hasn't been for a long time it's Pueblo and no I haven't been in it in a long time either.
  2. Hey thanks!! Great info. I love Courtyard Marriott's Love Resorts for a Day too. Appreciate you.
  3. Don't get stuck at Crown Bay either, at least go downtown and see what's up. If worse comes to worse you can walk in AH Riise buy you a bottle of something and make your own drinks. You got this.
  4. If this is your first time on St. Thomas don't stay on the ship. At least go to Magens Bay and spend some time. You don't have to worry about spending any money at the bar or restaurant because you can't get anybody to wait on you. If that's not doable go in town and mingle with everyone else. Don't stay on the ship, St. Thomas is not San Juan P.R.😁 St. Thomas is a place you want to get out and enjoy the island. Figure it out.
  5. Your math is correct. Do you plan on drinking and having lunch at the Sunset Grille??😳 There's no way whatsoever not to drink on St. Thomas especially on a beach Secret Harbor is no exception. $5.50 a pop for Stella's. My lunch and bar tab came to $120+tip.
  6. The Calypso Girl Barbados. Google it, email them (Nick) and see what they have available. Been with them twice, excellent catamaran sail. Hope it works out for you.
  7. Right across the street from the port. Iguana Joe's one of the best restaurants in the port area. It's a big pink building restaurant is upstairs can't miss it. Great view of the whole area. Crew favorite great food great drinks. The place will be packed I have dinner here every time I'm on the island. Google Iguana Joe's Aruba and check out they're menu. Best drinks and best food close to the port. You'll go back. Have fun.
  8. I love Cosols Tour done it twice. Both times with Baptiste. Our CC group we had 5 vans of people and one van with everything to drink. I think Baptiste is running the show now he has been for awhile. Great tour everytime. I'm just not into the long van ride anymore. With that being said it's a great tour.
  9. I cruise Princess no more Crown Bay. When RCI signed the deal it was the end of Princess docking ships at Crown Bay. Nice!! In all due respect there's so much more to do at Havensight the atmosphere is much better than Crown Bay. Crown Bay is back in a hole, Havensight is right there. Plus Havensight is set up much better for taxi's and pedestrian traffic. Havensight certainly is HOT it's the Eastern Caribbean 😁. Sitting on the dock at Crown Bay is great, my buddy Tommy has a kiosk there he sells ice cold Corona's and little bags of peanuts to feed the lizards with. It's the only thing I miss about Crown Bay sitting on the dock before the ship leaves drinking a few beers and feeding iguanas as long as me. Those iguanas are cool they're tame and smart!! I love those guys!! Actually feeding the iguanas are the only thing I miss about Crown Bay. Princess and Havensight work.
  10. Yes, they'll always be a taxi around or if your at Nachi about 15 minutes before you leave you can tell the lady up front your leaving in 15, could she call you a taxi that's what we all did. We all got our stuff together walked out to the parking lot and a minivan was waiting on us. Always hate leaving Nachi. No worries getting back to the ship.
  11. Taken the ferry at Redhook to Cruz Bay St. John many times. I highly recommend it, this is your first trip to St. Thomas, timing is key. Find out how many ships are porting on St. Thomas the day you are there, 4 or more ships on St. Thomas get off the island and take the ferry over to St. John. Hop another taxi to Trunk Bay and forget about it. Take the ferry back over to Redhook 2 hours before your ship leaves. 2 hours is plenty of time to get back to Havensight or Crown Bay even with traffic. 4 or more ships in port on St. Thomas it's called a nightmare. I call it Trunk Bay. Have fun.
  12. St. Thomas nothing but fun and relaxation. Grand Turk sounds like something my grandma used to make for Thanksgiving dinner.
  13. No worries lots of people mini van straight to Nachi. Just to be real safe I'd walk over to one of the many bars right there at the port to the Left and get a drink and then get the minivan to Nachi. Gotta have a frozen margarita on the way to Nachi. Just to be real safe. 😁😎
  14. Yes either way it shouldn't be difficult to get some good transportation for your trip around the island. Charles Town is nice up there. I'm south in Charleston. Love West Virginia, Charleston not so much. That's why every chance I get I'm trying to find a couple of weeks or so on the ocean. Have fun on St. Kitts you guys get done early I highly recommend Palm Court Gardens for cocktails before getting back on the ship. Best seat in the house. Have fun.😎
  15. Yes and Yes. The taxi stand and taxi's everywhere are right outside the security gate at Port Zante. Never a problem getting a driver to take you on a personalized tour of the island. Very nice and accommodating drivers, no worries.
  16. Your looking at about $50 a person. Maybe a bit less, if you can try and get a small group you'll get a better deal. You can't miss all the tour guides you have to walk through them on the way in town. These guys are the only way to go. Great island tours low key fair price and will drop you off at Eagle Beach and come back get you and take you back to the port at a time you both agree on. Great way to spend your day on Aruba. I'm sorry I don't know anything about an aloe factory.
  17. No I have not booked a hotel via Hotwire where they show you 3 locations up front. With that being said 90% of the time when I book a hotel with Hotwire I know exactly what hotel I'm getting. You never know until you hit final send and then the hotel pops up what you just bought. Correct all non refundable. I don't want a refund I want to go to Ft. Lauderdale. The 10% of the time I'm wrong when I pick a hotel, Hotwire always gives me a better hotel than I would have ever booked with someone else or on my own. I'm a solo traveler, book everything myself keeping it simple when it comes to hotels and airfare Hotwire is the only way to go for me. No surprises except pleasant ones. Good luck to you and have a great time on your vacation.
  18. Which law school did you go too?!!😂😂 LMAO!! Here's the best part you actually believe what you just wrote.🤭🤭 That's incredible. "aggressively" St. Thomas? 😳 Charlotte Amalie all hours day and night, we were all to high, hammered, or stonered to move much less get aggressive. That was everybody not just me. The only thing aggressive was us having another drink smoking another fatty and having more fun. Getting back on the ship at Havensight never did much for me. San Juan, rutro Houston we have a problem. A big one. San Juan is another day. I can't do San Juan tonight. Your welcome. WE certainly do have an incredible way of "sugarcoating" don't WE!! Top shelf law school they did a GREAT job.😉
  19. If you aren't a lawyer you should have been. Lawyer or politician, your good!! I love how you do that!! 😂😂😂😂
  20. Hotwire didn't make the Top 10 because they don't own Hotwire. Travel sights, Hotwire never makes anything because Hotwire is past all that. Those places hate Hotwire, I would too. I love Hotwire they've not only never failed me they've let me stay in hotels that I otherwise would have never been able to afford for CHEAP.
  21. St. Thomas "safer" than San Juan? I'll let Ms411 take that question. I'm not even going there. Have at it Ms411. We're all ears. St. Thomas "safer" than San Juan?
  22. St. Thomas everything about St. Thomas is INVITING. Putting the word "inviting" and San Juan Puerto Rico in the same vocabulary much less sentence, would be disingenuous just for starters and could get you in trouble. St. Thomas has a wonderful history. A history of wonderful beaches a history of wonderful bars and restaurants a history of beautiful water and a history of more wonderful beaches. That's all the history on my vacation I can do.
  23. You missed your calling you should have been a travel agent.
